Patchwerk – 5 bosses – 40 seconds for Mythic+

Does that sound correct, or are you using different settings? 🙂

check last pin, crit/mastery/haste are all good stats

as long as you have enough haste that the rotation feels good you should be fine

Hey everyone, I need help with my druid.
Long story short: My generic "#showtooltip /cast [@mouseover,harm,nodead][harm,nodead] XYZ" macros do not work when I swap Resto/Balance. Especially evident when I'm force-respecced by the game when entering dungeons etc.

Basically, the game assigns wrong spells for Wrath, Starfire and Starsurge. E.g. in resto spec the game tries to cast the boomkin version of Starsurge which requires 40 Astral Power which my resto obv. doesn't have. And tries to use Starfire which costs mana in boomkin, which fails, too. Or trying to cast Wrath which generates Astral Power as resto. Fails, too.

Any way to fix this? Not using macros for these spells isn't an option, really.

I played around with macros to fix it. I tried with spec:1/spec:4 conditionals, respeccing and shift-clicking the associated spells from spellbook etc. Tried making separate versions for each spec. Nothing worked.
Also: In one instance starsurge worked in caster form but didn't work in boomkin form as resto. Idk, it feels so random.

And I use those macros for personal preference. Don't think that should be subject of discussion rn.

bunch of people on mythic have played EC on it, can go find their talents on wclogs

for heroic its harder to judge

since the actual DPS check for egg phase is less relevant, which opens up opportunity to do more damage in the regular phase

also nobody has played 40 second egg phase yet so most of it is just assumptions

Ok so my mastery is at 25, haste is 14 and critical is 21. When I had more haste, my spells seemed to go slower but with these I can only do about 95k. My ilvl is 273. Shouldn't I be doing more?

The non craft gives an opportunity to have 2x craft(cloak/wrist) with embellishment. But if the Dark hunt is better overall..

Depends how much mythic raiding you do, if your only mythic items are 1/6 then you'll still want to play a staff for a while for the crest saves

Issue is once you start using sims to determine your gear you can't really stray away from it, the only hard rules for Boomies rn are you want your secondary stats to be a combination of anything but vers and you want Stare + Gaze or Ribbon for trinkets

I think regular weapon is probably better with 2x Arcanoweave, but I wouldn't blanket state that the ilvl on weapon makes it outscale the other option when crafted gains extra
