If you play Incarnation you might want to enter an Eclipse first to avoid sitting on a capped Eclipse cooldown forever, this also gives you the opportunity to pool AP between your Incarn and your Eclipse.

Also, press Wrath on ST and Starfire on AoE. This is Vorasius so your Starfire is not hitting enough targets to be worth hard-casting here. It's only the instant cast from your Apex Talent when using Eclipse/CA that is worth spending on Starfire, the rest of the time you Wrath.

You also want to press Force of Nature before your Incarn, but I suppose someone else already said that. The order should be Fury of Elune -> Treants -> Incarnation. You press Fury of Elune more for the AP generation than for the damage it does.

Your goal is to spend as many good globals in your cooldowns as possible, and preferably using your 3 buffed spenders from your Apex Talent (or to stack Starlord) as your first 3 globals.

Example of good globals in cooldowns:
Using free spender procs - You can read the Compendium guide on dreamgrove.gg (linked in channel description and pins) for more information on what proc to spend where.

Spending AP on Starsurge/Starfall - The only thing that matters here is target count. Generally you Starfall on 2+ targets and Starsurge on single target as your main AP spender. Ideally you want to end your cooldown window with as little AP as possible.

Using instant cast builder from your apex talent on the correct spell (Starfire in CA/Incarnation and Wrath in Solar Eclipse)

Building AP back to cast new spenders.

Example of bad globals in cooldowns:

Refreshing your DoTs - ideally you do this before using your cooldowns. For KOTG it is mostly relevant for Sunfire, as your Treants will reapply Moonfire.

Any global that risks munching a proc - using AP on a spender while the opposite spender is free from a Starweaver proc, or pressing Wrath/Starfire with a Touch the Cosmos proc ready.

Advice question for balance in M+ when a tank is grabbing mobs how much time do you spend tabbing through and casting Moon fire before you hit Sunfire and start the rotation? I know it sounds dumb but I’m always worried I’m spending too much time dotting and not enough time blasting

general consensus is moonfire everything, in practicality that aint happeniing on some pulls, so aim for like 10-12 mobs if theres much more then that. Dot the main targets with higher hp, also depends on key level

if the whole pull will die in 15 seconds youre just not going to dot most of it

Ofc it varies depending on what kind of group you have and if you have pumpers, if the mobs are at half hp once youre done dotting perhaps youre just dotting too much
