The priority list can be a bit overwhelming. A good rule to follow for each is save your cool downs (trees, convoke, fury of elune) for eclipses /incarn(or CA).
Then you want to make sure your pooling lots of astral power for when you are going into eclipses or Ca/Inc to get the most out of them.
After a long rest from boomie I played elunes chosen to get back into that flow because you are always in lunar eclipse so you aren't cucking yourself by messing up solar/lunar eclipse.
When you feel more confident keeper of the grove is the better performing spec it seems for raiding.
Big thing I found is finding which parts of keys and bosses to pop your cds makes a big difference too, and that comes with time and knowing the pulls/fights.

Oh and dots. More dots, dont drop them if you can help it

If a guide or someone says something like "you need to optimize your Eclipse uptime" it's not about just the uptime of the buff, but more making sure you are casting your highest damaging abilities during the Eclipse window

You don't want to waste buff uptime either naturally, but the way you do that is just make it a rule to wait for your Eclipse/CA/Incarn to end before using another and avoid having either cooldown be sitting at 2 charges if you can avoid it
