The skill expression comes in stuff like handling movement well. Planning ahead; knowing where you have to stand when the next mechanic comes in order to both maximize your current dmg while also minimizing the movement you have to do.. In terms of playing your class, that part is almost secondary. The best players are so used to doing their rotation that it becomes muscle memory, and when your spec gameplay is that ingrained in your fingers you can use 100% of your brain on the actual fights you're doing

WoW class design in general is very easy

Moonkin's biggest issue now is just the cooldown mess that makes it really annoying to plan them optimally

With the tooltip used for Ascendant Stars. In game its Rank 1 of the Ascendant Eclipses talent, which took me a bit to find in my talent tree since i couldnt search for Ascendant Stars. Probably not that impactful but just wanted to provide a little bit of feedback as a noob reading it (which is probably more commentary of wow's ability to search talents and skills through the talent/skill feature). I try to always follow along guides im reading in game by reading the tooltips and that one was a bit hard to find.

Hey guys, my Boomkin is driving me crazy right now.
Just did a Pit 9 and on the first big pull I popped Incarn + lust and hit 275k DPS. Felt amazing. After that though, even when I started with more Astral Power, I was barely hitting 100k throughout the rest of the dungeon, even when setup the same (minus lust.) Super inconsistent.
I know it’s probably my rotation on sustained AoE, but I can’t figure out where I’m losing so much damage
