Yes

For the dragon boss and Alleria p2 you Starsurge both and then Starfall a few seconds prior to whenever the adds spawn

It's a little cringe but it's optimal to swap what target you Starsurge so that you keep up Stellar Amp on both targets

2. Do you empty the astral power clip always while in Eclipse / Celestial?

Like, every time in Eclipse do you fire instant 3x Star Surge. / empty the clip. then go star fire.

But you have better burst during CDs

The biggest thing melee players dont adapt to well is positioning. You cant just hit all your buttons on CD really, you need to hold your spenders back a bit so that if you have to move, you have something you can cast while youre moving that is beneficial to you

So the ABC thing is good, but it especially matters during big movements. If you know a movement is coming, you need to be prepared and not be left high and dry without starsurges ready

You could also just be moving too much as well, playing a caster in general is about positioning. Knowing where you can stand to be in a better position for upcoming mechanics while also not dropping shit on the floor in a bad position, like debuff circles on Salhadaar

you can make anything viable with high enough number but meteorites isn't an aoe ability so if you were gonna get buffed you'd rather get buffed on something that works in both st & aoe

Look at the tanks character as he throws a spell to a mob to pull it

Moonfire that mob

And then you just Moonfire each mob as the tank pulls them

If you get aggro on the mob then use Wild Charge to reposition yourself so the mob has to walk through the tank

Get a nameplate profile that has different color nameplates based on what the mob is - caster mobs and higher priority elite mobs usually have different colors and that way you know which are the important mobs

Worth noting that efficient dotting = using the least amount of globals to dot everything that’s worth dotting. Especially for sunfire, when in a perfect scenario you don’t have to cast sun fire more than once or twice

Hey fellow druids. Long time player that took a long break and I'm kind of lost at what I'm doing wrong with my DPS.

I've read through the resources, I've done Sims for my gear, I've read through rotations, but when I go to put it all together to work in actual m+/raids, I feel mediocre. I almost feel like it's not clicking for me. I've tried to find videos (cause sometimes seeing is better than reading), but no luck. Anyone out there that's willing to share some tips/help keep my raiding spot?

My raid team just points my to logs and that hasn't helped me much.

You are not spending you ASP right. You should be spending in cooldowns not outside them.
