Maybe the big dps difference is in consistently throwing out starsurges and generating astral power through wrath. Just not sure how some balance druids shoot up to 100k during the initial ads face if they're not also spamming starfire with starfall. Anyway I'm going to bed, gn ya'll

there are few tips can help you to do insane dps with balance
prio <- spread (Dots)/sunfire/moonfire -> then maintain it with starfall with talent that called Aetherial kindling -> pop eclipse if u needed few instand cast on starfire + extra dmg on astra crit
moonfire faster and end it with sunfire
for AoE spread dot
also keep Fury of Elune on Cd
and always keep an eye on ur AP(astral power) to not overcap and spend it on starfall since it expends your Dots

Everything is "playable" and is viable up until a certain point for sure . However, playing a spec that isnt tuned well affects the experience to a degree. For example, it would be nice to not have to burn my key haha. Totaly understand what you're saying though.

but u should be getting rid of those surges faster when u have them

and then that 2nd CA at 1:25
now u dont need to rush that press
because ur not going to overcap asp, u have about 5-6 seconds to press that eclipse button to get another eclipse before ur ca-ing again

when u dont have starlord and/or u have ascendent stacks yes
but ur not pooling correctly prior to eclipse
as stated, ur entering multiple eclipses with no asp
there are times where this happens if ur going to overcap eclipses
but this doesnt happen every eclipse

I fcked up my rotation but I got to 65k early on through aligning cds and trying to get as much asp as possible without overcapping, spending asp right after activating eclipses and I seem to do better already. The key is repitition indeed. Force of Nature and Fury of Elune for example are close in cooldown rotation. The glaring issue I noticed is spamming too many wraths to build up my eclipse. I was very eager to eclipse immediately but damage overall seems to have improved when starsurging right after eclipse

I think my biggest mistake before this was going into lunar and using starfires on ads that died fast. But actually aligning my 2m/1m cooldowns and then spending full starsurge bar before convoke the spirits and the rest had me pumping out like 8-10 starsurges on the priority ad while the ads died to cleave. huge
