Got the chat boxes now, but with no chat windows, i wonder if have some other setting overriding it. I can run the Elvui installer to reset chat windows but a /reload removes them. ima go ask the elvui people. ty for the help 🙂

might of found what the issue might be after talking to the elvui people. but I dont know how to resolve it. When installing your pack, going into edit mode, there is no Chat Frame to edit or move around. when i switched to a new edit mode layout the chat window pops up, but switching back to your profile removes it again. not sure if its on my end or the pack.

I feel like the pre-patch basics are finally clicking for me. For the current ST setup, things like DoT management and sending Convoke/CA/Treants are pretty straightforward.
My main takeaways for what to track:
-Pool AP (or ToC procs) for 2-3 Starsurges right before Starlord falls off.
-Always bank enough AP/procs for 1-2 Starsurges to cover movement.
-Never enter Eclipse starved on AP; pooling high AP before Eclipse is mandatory.
I'm assuming these core ST rules are here to stay. The exact spell sequence might adapt later, but the underlying philosophy is the same. Wanted to turn in my homework to the professors before I head out to eat! @royal zenith @lofty depot

Sounds fine. The asp usage thing just takes work. Essentially new boomkins always full send asp, and u can see it rotationally. Basically you don't ever want to be 0 asp unless you know mechanics aren't coming
This means floating around here 40 asp so u have at least a surge for movement
I would have to find a log of someone, but u can see the different of a new players asp usage being very spiky up and down form 0-100 and then someone that's played for a while

We did that opener because it's mostly for free dmg and AP precombat and Starfire generates more AP, does slightly more damuge as well.

It feels like it flows pretty well. I like the various interactions with cds and eclipse up time makes for a decent gameplay loop. Animation is really good less important I suppose. Seems pretty mobile. Idk I’m just starting out so I have to play it more.
Coming from ele shaman I’m not impressed by their changes. TBH having no reference to the previous state of balance I’m finding it new and exciting.
