I’ve used ArcUI to create an eclipse bar that pops up. Anybody have any better UI solutions to tracking eclipse? My muscle memory is failing me and I think the fact that eclipse is on the global cool down causes me to use it incorrectly.

I’ve been playing boomie as a decent player for 10 years and this is the most annoying change I’ve ever seen. I honestly didn’t think I would be this thrown off. I felt great until I did a 20 key last night. I’ve gotten decent at keeping track of dots but a couple minutes into the dungeon and I’m not using eclipse efficiently at all.

Decent means 80-90 parser in my world. Heroic and Mythic raider focused but I push keys too. Used to play a lot, got s family and play what I can now. Hate being bad lol.

It was Easy to track dots with previous add ons/WA. With the changes to pre patch and what I’ve been hearing, people were worried about No dot tracker for multi-dotting. That seemed a way easier change to overcome. Only reason I mentioned it.

To get down to the specifics and ask for guidance without just complaining, I am realizing that I am not being efficient with my eclipses. That seems to be my personal struggle the changes.

Regular eclipse - when my eclipse is ending (sub 1 second) my instincts say to click eclipse to enter a fresh instead of casting builders, especially if I’m high AP or moving. This is a ME problem from my understanding, as we should be casting a couple builders outside of eclipse. This would explain why you can’t eclipse while eclipse is already active… as you shouldn’t ever? What about raid pull where i assume we will be Incarn immediately into Eclipse? That’s how my brain has predicted our opener will be in midnight.

Again, looking for advice. Is it better to overcap AP than miss an Eclipse, I assumed so but maybe not?

The GCD difference between Incarnation and Eclipse is odd to me as well.
