I'm gonna be honest, I currently hate the way eclipse works. I hope it grows on me.

It feels like it removed the rhythm that the spec had. I think my opinion is unpopular, but I liked the eclipse mechanic. I liked pooling ap on the tail end of an eclipse and then switching to the opposite spender 2x at the optimal time, it felt good, and it worked well with the talents that encouraged spending AP at the start of an eclipse.

There was a structure to it that feels missing now, manually activating eclipse and not needing to switch fillers removes the rhythm you had to maintain. It also makes the spec feel less unique as a consequence.

Like I said, I hope it grows on me. But right now I just don't feel good about it.
