People use vers/mast crafted pieces because of raid with Keeper and then swap out rings and stuff for m+ with EC to get more haste

Ideally you should look into simming your character on raidbots and choose the items that sim the best for you
but if you don't wanna put in all that effort then you can slam mastery and haste
