Well, the main issues seem to be regularly over committing to Solar Wrath, and accidentally going into Lunar Eclipse, and Overcapping on Astral Power while trying to manage Starlord.

Yes, M+ for SH is mostly fine, check out, as mentioned, warcraftlogs for the most popular builds on a fight.
Mind that you can switch things in your class tree for SH, cuz you don't need Soothe/Vortex for example for this encounter, but much rather need survivability and move speed (my pref) 🙂

probably irrelevant what you do, i always just spend until i got no more ap for surges but if u wanna math it out its full boat value at start of CA and decreasing boat value throughout convoke and then again full boat value on next CA after convoke, kinda hard to math out, probably irrelevant 😄 just dont overcap through convoke

As said, sim yourself, but titan disc belt with vers buff (haste for SH with EC) still sims best for me with only having Mythic Raid Belts (unupgradet) in my bag, other upgrades were stronger currently to get. Will probably change next week with no crestcap and obtainable max ilvl belts.

I sim with 15-20% miss chance according to peepz from my guild, funny enough with this miss chance Parapodia with same ilvl sims better for me, and Voidcore with Kris even better obv. I enjoy having to care less for a trinket anyway ngl. But ye, check your trinket options and see for urself, maybe sim through different setting from 15-30% 🙂
