As of the context, my focus in Mythic raiding and ST.
This week we will do last heroic reclear, mentioning this regarding the catnip feet item
Currently I have 2 vers/mastery rings, which is bad and maybe that is why the sim for Alpha ring is so high
I think the choice is between Dawn Feet (which is M+ loot bis) and the Alpha ring
I am myself in favour of the Feet and max upgrade it, since I am not in the top of loot chain of my guild, so catnip feet, either Heroic or Myth are hard to come by. Unless heroic catnip feet is better than myth Dawn feet, then I will farm it every week, fingers crossed though
So wanted to ask experts opinion here.
My Mastery is still low, which I guess I need Myth Neck from HoA one day
In the sim I added this week 90 crests and set to upgrade to max possible

seems like you have a bunch of haste (based on ur crafted items and tier choices). currently haste is kinda bad with KOTG in raids and crit/vers take its place with mastery probably being on top so u might want to take that into consideration when simming! but yeah always trust the sim at the end of the day

The hc dagger is only competitive in ST scenarios and mostly when fully upgraded to 710. The effect doesn't really scale in aoe, hence higher ilvl / more stats on a crafted 2h are easily outperforming it there

Yeah I think a super important key point for many casters, balance included, is learning when and how to move during instant casts. It something not obvious on the dummy but for balance right you get free movement right when you enter eclipse and are starsurging down, and on every star surge
