So looks like my best play is to craft Bracers but with Duskthread Lining rather than Writhing Armor banding (Since i don't have weapon with ascension).

Then in future, as/when i get the Voidglass Kris (For me it'll probably just be Hero tier) i should craft the Vagabond's Torch offhand with Ascension and then replace the embellishment on my bracers with Writhing Armor Banding at that point?
