Balance's damage profile is reversed from a large majority of up-front blasting specs. You will spend a portion of your time before almost every pack just sitting there doing hardly any dmg, while you're just dotting things up. Then, you have to play climb the meters and hope the pack lasts long enough for you to pump.

Can someone give me a quick run down here. I'm starting up again and I'm looking a heroic balance warcraftlogs statistics. Its looking like balance is 2nd to the bottom. - heroic late into the tier is largely just doing boss damage because shit dies fast, also generally fights last like 2 minutes
- our tierset got nerfed and got no compensation buff. so waiting on tuning (feel free to read what i said above)
- We've been like bottom 1/3 damage but its within 5% of others in middle of the pack sooooo unless ur rwf it largely jsut doesnt matter
side note, evoker and mm are allwoed to be levels of broken but boomkin is not

I didnt play much this patch but was DK, frost dps and tanking part time for gear in M+. Frost is not doing great in the DPS front and I played balance all last exp used tanking and healing specs to fill in raid gaps. Would you put frost above balance for DPS overall? if I choose to go dk again unholy is looking much better. Just weighing the pros and con with out facting what I like playing more.
