there's alot of multipliers. There is some rng to getting a crit with the most buffs up. I've hit a 10mil surge on retail. We have mastery proc from Best in slots, vers proc from belt, helmet enchant proc, embel up or not, etc. There is alot of things you ideally want lined up in your CA with trees, with potion, with max eclipse scaled (21%, with both ecl 46.41% dmg amp.) But also as others said, iL makes a difference and playing well.

• I have 104199 Int/Spellpower. 4-Set is therefore capped at 2.604.975 damage.
• Five CAs in the encounter amounts to 13.024.875 damage stored. *2 for 2 Starsurges buffed: 26.049.750
• Total damage dealt in the encounter was 841.250.000 -> 4-Set would be a ~3.1% increase.

This disregards procs that increase spelldamage, total encounter damage includes old 4-Set, and assumes I always hit the cap. Additional damage is unaffected by damage increases, I presume?

For 5 targets: SS hits for ~4.360.000 average, which would be 6.964.975 damage per SS, so 13.929.950 per CA, so 69.649.750 total in our example, pushing the 4-Set to 8.27%.

This disregards the fact that we will have much higher total damage on 5 targets, reducing the percentage (~1,63B on Stix -> 4,27%)
