I can't speak for other classes, but for balance druids, Cyrce has been so efficient that we couldn’t drop it until recently — but it seems like they made the switch just a few days ago.

But for sure the difficulty in M+ comes primarily from knowing everything that goes on in a dungeon/pull and how to optimise the total CC/utility package of your spec/group, rather than just doing dmg

With Blizzard having started the war on addons and such, I think we'll be heading into more milder dungeon design soon where you can rely more on clear telegraphing and not having to deal with an abundance of "bolt" casts
