@weary hamlet you have to apply mount equipment to mounts in the mount tab. travel form isn't a mount in the mount tab, so can't use mount equip with it. if i misunderstood your question please let me know

Travelform, especially with wild charge, is wildly superior in most cases outside of pvp.
We get to both gather resources and won't be dismounted by daze.
On top of that we can use a lot of our CC without breaking form, such as typhoon, bash and so on

Depends on what you're going for. Night Fae is the only choice for resto, Kyrian is generally preferred for the rest (although NF is still a solid choice)

for example, thrash/swipe are pretty important for feral and guardian, but useless for balance, so its hard to keep them in the same place because placement is determined by priority order
the most accessible buttons for me are 1-6 and shift 1-6, but balance has too many abilities so swipe/thrash don't fit in those
but i def want them in that set of 12 buttons for the other specs

  1. when convoking in cat form, will ferocious bite damage count as if 50 energy was used, regardless of what energy it is cast with

  2. when convoking in cat form, how does the spell determine what damage your finishers do? is it always a set amount of combo points or does it go off of how many you have at the time of casting

and followup to the second question, does that mean you should convoke with 0 combo points, or 5?

For me in terms of mechanics it's not challenging. It's mostly "were you lucky in your power choices".

Hi all! I have just leveled my druid to 48 using Guardian, and it was smooth even if in the last levels dmg fell quite a bit.
Now i went to shadowlands and i'd like to level as balance so that the gear is more or less shared with resto, which i want to main. With balance tho i'm having huge difficulties: more than one single mob and i start to take big damage, even in the maw intro quest, and dps is quite low. Am i doing something wrong, is it gear related or balance is not good for leveling?

@whole cove idk how you're playing, but when I was leveling I only took on 1 - 3 mobs cause I'm a dps not a tank.

Sim yourself to see if your dps is actually low. If you're close to your sim then that's probably just your output.

If you're far then maybe there's something you can improve on.

For world content I tend to use the M+ build on wowhead.

Treants can eat a lot of damage for you. Vortex and Typhoon can get stuff off you for a few seconds. Mighty bash is also good to get something off you.

Thornspeaker druids (KT druids) are similar in philosophy to regular druids, except we respect life AND death, aren't enthralled to any wild gods and just take power from Thros (emerald nightmare) all sneaky like, and as such harness the wilds itself and form our own shapes based on kultiran culture. It depends on what you want. If you like to be versatile, play all roles, or just like the playstyle of any of the specific specs, druid is for you.

For purely balance vs shadow, both are great. I main shadow and my main alt is a druid. They are similar in that they both use dots, both have strong off heals (if specced into resto affinity for druid) and both have pretty solid utility. Priest has Mass Dispell, Mind Soothe, Power Infusion, Purge, and for niche uses Mind Control. Druid has Ursols, Typhoon, Stampeding Roar, brez, roots, and can swap to bear if specced for some "oh shit" tanking moments

For healers, their differences start to shine more. Resto druid is a mobility and HoT (Heal over Time) focused healer, with access to many of the same utilities as balance. Their heals lack an upfront punch, but when you spread your hots to your team and they have time to tick, throughput for Druid can be pretty strong

Priest has two healing specs, Holy is your more traditional, easy, straightforward healer. You cast a heal, they get healed, bam. Disc priest heals by applying a buff called Atonement to their allies. Atonement heals the target it is on for a % of the damage you deal. So you slap atonement on your party, ramp up your DPS wombo-combo, and the heals come rolling in. Disc priest also has a large focus on daamge reductions and aborb shields, and less of a focus on raw actual healing, which is where Holy shines

So if you want to be able to DPS while you heal, go Disc. If you want to have mobility and a bag of tricks to help the group with CC and mob placement, do druid. If you want an easier healer to get started learning healing as a whole, i'd recommend Holy

Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone can help me out as a relatively new WoW player and a very new druid main? I've chosen druid because I like the ability to be able to play any role but I'm curious as to how to manage my gear. For example, im thinking of going balance as my main spec, but if I then wanted to jump into playing a bit of feral, is it necessary to have a different set of gear for that spec? Similarly if I then wanted to play restoration for a dungeon or two, would I then need another set of gear?

I'm also wondering how this applies to PvP..would i need a separate set of PvP gear for each spec as well, or is ivl basically king?
