Have you had any contact with Dev recently? What are the updates on a future big update for the game?

We know he's alive, and id say theres still a good chance an update is coming, last update took 9 months so this amount of absence is still withen the norm.

while like the rest of you we'd love if we had more signs of life. this is how he does things.

Well, the truth is that he should change that. We don't ask him to talk every day, but we would like him to communicate something from week to week.

#

or every 2 weeks

#

But we only have silence from him, we don't know if the game is still in development or not, what will be added in future updates...

#

And it's not to advertise the competition, but at least on Blogugan they tell you what they're working on or what bugs they just fixed.

of course the difference between bakuproject and bloxugan is bloxugan has a bigger team. so its easier to say whats going on since theres more of them doing different things. while bakuproject is just one dude

What we want is to be informed more

Although Bloxugan has more people, the important thing is that at least they inform

Its hard to communicate when this one person is having to go to a normal job, do whatever family things he has, write the code for BP, get the assets together, make sure to commission other assets he may need for stuff that doesnt have assets, and all the much more nuanced stuff that comes with all of that. Yes it would be good to have communication but he is one person doing it all himself because he doesnt really trust other people with the inner workings of the game. How is supposed to have time for that. Not to mention the game is just a side part of his life to begin with.

We all have busy lives, not just him, but if we have at least 5 minutes to write something, months have gone by and he hasn't had even 5 minutes to write?

I can understand what you're saying, but communication is necessary, and the fact that he wants to do it alone is his own doing because many people have advised him or tried to help him with certain designs and so on.

Good morning,

I am writing to express my concern regarding the current state of the project. It has now been nine months since the last update, and there has been neither visible progress nor communication. This is particularly disappointing considering the initial commitment made — that with community support, there would be consistent involvement and transparency.

We fully understand that no one is expected to be available 24/7. However, a complete lack of activity and communication over such an extended period reflects poorly not only on the project lead but also affects the community that has supported this endeavor in good faith.

If time constraints are genuinely preventing continued development, then the responsible and respectful course of action would be to delegate responsibilities formally. This would ensure the project's continuity and protect its long-term vision. It is, at the very least, what the contributors — many of whom have voluntarily supported the project financially — deserve.

We are already familiar with how larger companies sometimes abandon their communities; it would be truly disheartening to see a smaller, community-driven project fall into a similar pattern. Many people have invested their time, trust, and resources into this initiative, and it deserves a future.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I sincerely hope a constructive and timely solution can be found.

I honestly wish Dev at least just gets online and says hi or something and also let us know if he is okay

This is fine up until the point of thinking about how much money he's actually making from this project's patron. If you look now on Patron it states he has 818 paid members. With the minimum amount you can pay to be one being $5 that means he's getting the bare minimum of $4,090 a month or $49,080 a year. The Median income in America from 2023 was $39,982 and he's making that just from his patron. People are not being unreasonable for wanting the minimum amount of communication when he's getting this much from it

Well, if there is nothing you can do, at least don't defend what he does.

#

Because the slightest question we ask always gives the answer that he is very busy and can't talk, as if others didn't have busy lives

Yall gotta be more patient. Yall gotta stop pressuring. It doesnt matter how long it take. The dev could be in the hospital for all we know and cant respond. Chill Out

If the Dev has his own stuff to worry about and keeps this project as a "passion project" let him. So far with the frequency at which the updates are dropped. We are on schedule

#

I'd get worried if nothing drops in 2-3 months
