Most of them would be related to UX design. Allow me to share some things that should be improved in the game:
- Short inventory/chests
- When I want to store items from my inventory that are already in the chests, I want them to be stored automatically if I click on that item (For ex. I have 50 metal in my inventory and there's at least 1 in the chest. If I click on my 50 stack from my inventory, it should be saved automatically into the chest!). Also, there should be a button that directly transfers all the items in my inventory that already exist in the chest where I want to store them, making it an automatic operation with just one click.
- BP tier distinction in shops
- Why, if I plant a bunch of detonators, won’t thedamage stack? I’m pretty sure I wasted a few of them because of this issue during the last playtest. I had to use them one by one to be more efficient, and that doesn’t make sense. Don’t you think?
- Better chat visibility– Sometimes, you can’t even read the nicknames. Add some kind of overlay. Also, change the colors to be more saturated… Why would you let the nicknames to be pitch black? Really? Also, having the ability to scroll up or down in the chat in case I missed something and want to read it. On top of that, the option to minimize it if I don’t want to see any chat or, on the contrary, pin it so that it stays permanently active for constant reading. This would be really useful.
- Why can’t I see which mods are equipped on my guns? Also, speaking of guns, there should be better visual cues for their tier. The colors are too small and almost imperceptible. Maybe the entire square should have a colored background?
- Being able to name chests to better organize your inventory.
- Being able to name and see the name of bedrolls so that when you have a team, there’s more order. This feature wouldn’t be necessary for enemy beds.
- Let me choose the amount when splitting resources. Why does it always split in half by default? What if I want a specific number?
- When producing materials like plants or food—for example, in the farming processor, where it’s convenient to stack mushrooms and cockroach nests in batches of 50—why do I have to spam clicks? Can I only add them one by one? The same goes for fertilizer or battery production… All types of production shouldn’t be limited to clicking repeatedly. Let me input the desired amount, PLEASE!
- The character's inventory for equipment should be better organized. Attached an example.
- Radial menu for all quick slots
