Just made this for people to give skin ideas in game…

I personally like a different approach to cosmetics than what’s currently popular. These days bright colors mixed with a teen city rioter vibe is popular, mixed with Asian styles. I’m not about that at all. I’m more of an earth colors, and militaristic look kind of lover.. in rust, I use a skin for my t2 armor that sort of makes my character look like an imperial guardsman from 40k. I never liked the art work of Korean, or other Asian style games at all…

All ideas are welcome here in this thread though. Not just mine, we all have tastes, and that’s ok.

Also there are multiple massive 40k fans amongst us 😀

For sure, I agree that the look should fit the theme of the game. The 40k reference wasn’t really intended to say that I want a 40k skin, but skins that’s different from the Asian, teen rioter vibes. Or any of that stuff that’s currently popular. I like camo, tactical, earth colors, nothing bright. My fav color is like an olive/forest green ish. There are all kinds of looks I’d like, imagine a steam punk fallout type vibe, that’s what I’d rock. Just generally not at all the bunny skin vibe yall showed earlier. But some people love that stuff, and that’s ok, of course. Just not for me. And yea, I figured you guys want to tailor to a lot of stuff because, from my understanding the isotopes can be used to buy skins? So that would definitely need to be a very large market for replay value in that aspect.. rust did an awesome job at allowing the community to make skins and let them be voted on, and approved by the devs. You guys will have your own way, of course, but including the community in on it has definitely proved to be well liked, if you guys ever thought about taking that route for other players to assist in creating skins just to have a more abundant selection, and so you guys will have more time on your hands rather than handling it all yourself, while still playing moderator in skins that are submitted. 🙂
