I will try making this, for fun, but I think it would look cool as a LMG in Coltrane x)

true plaza

lmg would be sick

@karmic knoll we've a weapons designer 😂

Fallout has one of these, my favourite weapon

true plaza
#

would be very op though holding down a airlock with this would be broken

#

but if you made it super dooper rare then it would be balanced

Boom, done. 100% finished

sonic galleon
#

or generally just balance it that way

#

Like star wars laser weapons

#

If they don't overheat, then there's no real ammo xD

true plaza
#

yes in an open world that would make sense

#

but coltrane is a very compact game and with lmgs it would be very op

#

unless it had a CRAZY cooldown allowing people to push the person in while he is vulnerable

#

but then they could just switch to another weapon

I'm not sure, it should be tested, but I think it can be balanced

#

It's like knifes... They are op, and it's op in a close encounter, which coltrane is full with

true plaza
#

another thing to make them balanced is only having 200 ammo but can only be reloaded from a workbench (rust did this)

true plaza
#

or have speed boots to speed you up

#

i think it COULD be balanced but it would better if it was not added or RARE so something you dont just take out, its more of a last ditch thing

#

i do love lmgs though and hope one is added

i just dont think it should be something you can get access of easily

sonic galleon
#

well, ofc

true plaza
#

i know for a fact if they add this im just going to get a head of everyone get one and hold an airlock with this, you dont need to run and you can mow down soo many people getting so many resources

#

and i dont think the game needs that atm

You can camp airlocks already, with or without lmg. I think that after the first playtest with a lmg, it would not be used for that scope. But who knows
