Path of the Swap (open to changing the name)
Barbarians who follow the Path of the Swap are known for their disruptive and unpredictable fighting style. By mastering the art of powerful claps, they can manipulate the battlefield to their advantage, keeping their enemies off balance and their allies in optimal positions.
The Clap
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain the ability to clap your hands and swap the positions of two creatures within 30 feet of you. As a bonus action, you can swap either two willing creatures or yourself and one willing creature.
- Any willing creature that is swapped can use its reaction to make an attack or take the Dodge action.
- When not raging, you can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Quick Clap
At 6th level, you learn to react swiftly to protect your allies. A number of times per day equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1), when either you or an ally within 30 feet of you is targeted by an attack or is in the area of effect of a spell or attack, you can use your reaction to swap the target with either yourself or another willing creature within 30 feet of you.
Disruptive Clap
At 10th level, you gain the ability to use your clap ability on unwilling creatures. When you use your clap ability, one of the creatures can be an unwilling creature within 30 feet of you. The unwilling creature must make a Charisma saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a success, the swap fails.
Supreme Clap
At 14th level, the radius of your clap ability is increased to 60 feet. Additionally, once per rage, when you use your clap ability, you can swap an additional number of creatures equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1).
