I'll have to take a look! Thank you so much for your kind words!
I'm back from a hiatus with new race / subclass combo for Slayer! Play as the Arachne: sling on webs, climb your enemies, and implant them with spider eggs that burst upon death!
Oh wow, if I had known that existed I probably wouldn't have bothered writing Slayer! Revised Fighter looks phenomenal, but I think it's a little overpowered (it is strictly stronger than base Fighter, provides one more tool proficiency and extra features, etc.) and Slayer offers a lot more interesting choices. Action surge and indomitable are boring compared to some of the features I used in their place, the maneuvers and fighting styles I wrote enable a lot of ways to play that players have sorely missed from 5e, and Slayer subclasses offer a lot more in terms of mechanical variety, things like that. The level 1 experience is where you'll feel the difference most, since I prioritize getting you choices ASAP while Revised Fighter delays that by one level
But all the maneuvers and fighting styles from Revised Fighter are compatible with Slayer and vice versa, so feel free to mix and match and let me know how it goes!
Oooo, looks awesome
That was my goal with it! Thank you 🙂
My Thrusday character died and my DM allows anything I write in her games, so I actually wrote that race/subclass for my new character Kekheshta. Debuting her, and the new race/subclass, tonight in about 8 hours 🙂 can't wait
You catch a glimpse of something small and dark falling from the ceiling and of sunlight reflecting a breaking thread of silk that trails its motion. Before you can get a closer look, it is gone again.
*Now that you can get a better look at the figure, you almost wish you hadn't. What you assumed were armored greaves turn out to be chitinous, instect-like legs. The humanoid silhouette is broken by a protruding stringer extending from its tailbone and eight, void-black eyes peer at you from its burlap cowl. *
New warforged-only subclass, the Iron Mimic! Do you love playing as a robot but wish you could do cool robot things, like transforming into various machines? Now you can!
