I've tried the flatpak, appimage and even compiling from source. In all three cases I cannot see a buildplate for my voron or Bambu printers in the viewport. From everything I've read, Ubuntu has the best Linux support with Orca. I have an Nvidia RTX 2080 GPU. Is there something up with the drivers for my video card interfering?

Any chance you know if you use the open or the closed sauce driver? Since it is an Nvidia

Did you check the bot recommendation here?
The only open source driver I tried was the one on the bottom here - the X.Org driver. I'll try it again just to be sure as well as check the link you posted. Thanks!
Yea. Check the link. I am not verse on nvidia on linux, 2000 series. You should check if it actually compatible with the open driver. If not. Try the 3rd option instead of 1st. Beware do a bit of research first : D
Yeap, that did it! x.org driver works. I swear I tried that before I posted to Discord.
Now I wonder how this will affect video games 🙁
No problem that it helps.
But the xorg nouveau is not the one you want to use unless something changes recently enough.
First and Third option doesn't work for you? Both of them? Those are the ones you want for performance.
