#H2S on nightly build failing to send print job

I'm on the nightly build of Orca slicer so I can print with my H2S. But when I try to send a print, I get this error.

"unsupported print file path or name. please resend print job. [0500-4002 131517]"

I tried looking up a solution or something for this and there isn't a whole lot out yet since it's fairly new. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

# outer nebula I'm in the same boat as <@679879965562372226> . Full control of the printer from...

Looks like at some point it was able to actually send the file to the USB drive in the printer, just not able to start it. I'm not sure what caused it to go thru vs the others bc I dont remember using the file name. I could start it manually on the printer, shows the 3mf preview and everything. Didn't finish the print to see if any of that was messed up but will do some more testing to see if I can at least send files over reliably. Looking up that error code didn't help at all, can't even find it besides your post on the subreddit lol

Same deal for me. I was wondering if maybe it was because of the usb stick format, but I formatted it on the printer itself. And I’m using a 32gb usb so it should be size or anything.
I guess the biggest thing with starting it from the printer is making sure the print and filament profiles are correct and everything and like you said, the Gcode isn’t corrupt.
Yeah im sure there’s nothing on it yet since it’s on nightly builds and dev mode

Bambu connect is also required, in case you didn't know

you mean in the home page of orca correct? I've been connected to my bambu account on there for a while and still am unable to send prints. I tried logging out and resigning in but still get the same results.

I am experiencing the same issues, but with a P2S. @outer nebula @exotic mulch

I also see an error (Error code: 1868951160 [1868951160]) looking at the storage tab of the printer. Is that the case for you as well?

If I plug the USB back into my machine, there is file called verify_job which is a text file containing just a test file. I googled that file and some people seemed to think that the file is used to acknowledge the print job, so maybe that's part of the issue if I can't read what's on the storage?

I only have about a week's experience with Orca or even Bambu printers, so I'm pretty out of my depth trying to troubleshoot. I have no idea whether the issue is with my printer, LAN-only mode, using the P2S with Orca etc... I
Is the H2S in the mainline release? I'm only using the nightly because that's the only option for P2S

I am using a Mac, in case that makes any difference.

I haven't seen those error codes so it might be a mac specific thing.

I just checked the USB I have in my printer and it's I don't see those files there. Honestly just so I can use it from my desktop, I've started using Bambu studio just for the H2S.

Those error codes could be specific to the P2S with orca. I just got a P2S yesterday and haven't had the chanve to try it out on the orca night build yet. But unless I missed something, the H2S is still only available on the nightly builds. I'm pretty sure it has to do with Bambus firmware trying to lock it down to specifically Bambu studio.

I'll keep digging around to try some things and post back here if I find anything that seems significant.
