Hiya, I'm printing with some ASA at the moment, it recommends 90-110 degrees for the bed temp, so at 100 degrees I'm technically fine but having some issues and wanted to try 110 to see if it's better, but it won't let the bed temp go over 100. I'm sure I've done this before... is there an override I've forgotten about or is this a new firmware thing?
#P1S Textured PEI Plate Max Temp

Pretty sure it is the firmware limitation. I have both the international and the chinese P1S on 220V. Neither goes over 100C.
I did everything from PLA upto ABS, PA (no PC or PP) and between. Clean bed is extremely important. More than the temperature ever was. Unless you are printing a godly-huge shape. Then it could be something else.
But if you currently have problem with 100C bed. What filament you're printing? And problems you have?
ASA-CF, it sadly is a large print it's takes up the full perimeter of the bed, and warping is my issue, especially in the corner by the camera
The corner also is like 7-10C less than the middle of the bed too. Sadly if that the case. Have you consider alternative like Visionminer liquid? I have that and personally will use it along side with my BQ glacier plate if I have to use the maximum size of it
The glacier plate is the one that claims to let you print things with the bed 5 or so degrees lower isn't it?
Hmm. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look to getting one
Nah... It's more like "near smooth" but stick very well for that texture. Beside pla and petg it should be used like a normal pei plate.
But don't expect magical. It's good though. Especially on most ABS and all ASA I own.
But tbh. Nothing have beat the smooth dual side bb plate + visionminer for me.
But one bottle 45mL cost same as a plate so I use it only time to time
This is the first project i've ever used glue for tbh
