i think you need to add a system PLA profile in first, and then it will allow you to create one based on that system profile

I had the same problem in the last version.. so I updated like an hour ago but it's still there
only thing I can do is duplicate and rename them...

you need to do it manually

since we know Elegoo Neptune 0.4mm would work. you can create your filament profile based on that. then manually edit the json file to be compatible with your custom neptune 4 max printer

welp yea I just said I made it by duplicating an already existing filament and just modifying it
so obviously a bug... but at least it can be worked around
