Paying $12 a month for a beta with more glitches than Cyberpunk 2077 on launch day is wild! And speaking of launch, when is the full game due to release?? Every update makes the game worse. Changing the HUD, why??? It was perfectly fine before. Yall need to make massive improvements fast or you will lose the bulk of your players. Wake up!

Say you're a console player without saying your a console player.

They gave the option to pay for the subscription with GUNZ, literally the currency you can earn in game. Console players don't have access to it, but its not cause of the developer. Its cause your Sony and Microsoft overlords said "But how would we get our cut?!" If its a grift its cause you choose it.

Also the Q4 this is timeline for full release. Thats been known forever.

I get that, but the difference is games like Rocket League and Apex are complete games, not a beta. I don’t mind paying if the product delivers, but right now the glitches and half-baked updates don’t justify the cost. Free-to-play is fine, but if they’re going to monetize like this, the quality has to be there.

I get what you’re saying about blocking GUNZ on console, but that doesn’t change the experience for players. If I’m paying $12 a month, I expect stability and value. That’s on the devs to deliver. And as for release, I’ve looked, and there’s no official confirmation of a full launch date yet. Early access is all that’s been announced. If Q4 is the target, then they need to come out and state it publicly instead of leaving players guessing.

This is game is in early access:
"Those that pay to participate typically help to debug the game, provide feedback and suggestions..." (Wikipedia) which means that it is a experimentell phase and big changes can be made, to test something and made the game better.
And its a huge Differenz if a game fully releases (as Cyberpunk) or if it is in early access.
And what I noticed is that Cyberpunk (at launch) had SIGNIFICANTLY more bugs or partial crashes than this game.
You don't pay a subscription just to get a better game. You support the developers and get perks.

I’d be with you if the updates were actually improving the game and gameplay, but correct me if I’m wrong, it feels like every update just breaks something else. A lot of these bugs aren’t just ‘expected early access quirks’, they’re bush league mistakes that wouldn’t be happening with a seasoned dev team. Honestly, the whole thing feels more like a school project than a professional release.

Plenty of us dont like some of the changes. Plenty of us have encountered the bugs. Report them. Critique the specific thing you dislike. Suggest an alternative.

The only lord of my wallet and bank account is myself, and I haven’t been subscribing to pro since probably early summer, and likely won’t be subscribing until forced crossplay is turned off (and/or working matchmaking, excluding ranked) and second-class treatment of console players is a thing of the past.

So much for your corporate overlording. I don’t pay a dime to microsoft to play otg and the series x costs probably less than half of an equally powerful budget gaming pc.

It’s entirely up to the consumer to decide whether they sympathize with Gunzilla for the alleged limitations imposed on them by Microsoft or Sony. Maybe I would if Gunzilla wrote an open letter explaining the situation and how they plan to make it worth our while.

No one needs you to sympathize with anything and the developer doesn't need to sympathize with you based on the platform you choose to use to play their game, especially when you have other options that they've given you.

You want the developer to have some "compassion" on you by charging less since Microsoft and Sony have chosen to add on their own fees to you. Thats like telling someone they should lower the price of their product on Amazon because Amazon charges you shipping charges when you could simply avoid said charges by buying it in the store down the street.

Everything you purchase through Xbox and Playstation platforms and stores always has an extra charge from them, even its not specifically noted. The same as when you buy/pay for things in apps through Google and Apple. You ever complained about your subscriptions to other games needing to be cheaper cause of those? Probably not, so why should this be any different.

You don't like the game enough to want to support it, continue not paying. This isn't an debate about you NEEDING or HAVING to pay. This is a debate about how its stupid that someone is whining about CHOOSING to spend their own money.

Have a real real hard time believing this game fully launches before end of this year. That is 4 months left. We have been "testing" this much smaller mode for a year and 4 months. The BR mode is supposed to have much more involved , plus supposed to be 150 players , plus full map. You think they gonna optimize that , balance that, and work out the bugs in 4 months?
