Delete the game's save data, (not the game it self). Then restart your game.

#1. Go to "Saved Data and Game/App Settings" and default the OTG "Game Presets."

And / or...

#2. Game save data files have been a thing since PS3. It's separate from your install of the game. You need to access "Saved Data and Game/App Settings" with in your PS5 menu . Select the OTG file and delete it.

PS: You shouldn't have to reinstall the game itself unless it is corrupted.

Any progress ? same exact problem here . Stuck on " config. player data". I've done all the usual things to get it to work .
