etention is super important to all us. Consistently nerfing the best limbs and weapons should be a thing of the past at this point. People are spending real money on great items only for the team to nerf them some of them days later. For example I just bought a terikon maniac for 6500 $Gun about 4 days ago just for it to be nerfed today. Stuff like this kills retention guys. Only using this as an example- the bigger issue with balance is the cyberlimbs. (Who thought this Shield buff was a good idea (as is)? Did it need a buff, yes, but come on. Maybe bring on more play tester interns to get bigger data sets or something, but this has to change. Please make it a primary focus to get existing items perma balanced and extensive testing for the introductions of new items so that once they are in the game for over a week or so, there status from that point is unchanged.. PLEASE also make it a top priority to get as close to a bug free build as possible. The beta has been out for over a year and is more buggy than ever. I get that with so many elements, this won't be easy, but it's necessary. Make these 2 things priority and both streamer numbers and player retention should sky rocket.

             *UPDATE*

Most of the spread I was feeling using the Terikon is from a bug that resets your gameplay settings and not the update (Another fix that could help with retention, if widespread). Once I got a little help with that I feel the TM is still fueeego and I have to say the update is feeling fkn amazing. The bug and balance conundrum mentioned above, however, still persists. Please consider any solution to a less buggy game.. it's near perfect

They could solve this by removing "pay to win" items but they most likely wont. The skin and look of the gun should be the only thing that is affected when introducing a variant. If it has attachments great, but those attachments should reflect the attributes of the existing pool and take up 1 of the allotted slots for each attachment added. Also, if that's the case, make the attachments interchangeable.

Ah I disagree with that strongly mate, what they do with the variants keeps the game exciting. I don't even see this as a small problem because for one, you earn $gun in the game that can be used to buy these variants and they will ofc release new super powerful versions that give everyone a chance to get them for an affordable price. Now, we don't see that as much but remember the Pierser didn't exist until like April, now it might be used nearly as much as Kestrels

I don't have a problem with pay to win in the game. I'm just stating that your issue is simply because pay to win is in the game. So not sure what you're issue is if your ok with having those items in the game? Nerfs and Buffs are a constant and you take the risk when you spend money on an item.

Ah I thought you might be saying that, but wasn't sure. I also don't agree with nerfs and buffs having to be a constant, but maybe Im missing something. If a weapon is well balanced for a game, why would you ever have to buff or nerf it? You would just continue to release well balanced items. I think whether these items cost more than standard items is irrelevant to how well they fit into the game

For example no cyberlimb costs significantly more than any others and they are still being buffed and nerfed every update
