I didnt know he had a backstory but hes a great actor, you should highlight the fact he worked on every Neil Blomkamp project and maybe more praise to the actor himself

Like Ironman/RDJ jokes in Avengers mostly suck but we care for him

Introducing different characters could also help to create a distinction

Because we dont know if Everyone on Tear drop is like Cobra

Theres a few character in the intro cutscene that could also add some depth, per exemple the girl Who got her limbs removed she could freak out and have a mental breakdown

So now you have strong Cobra king of the Island and the average Joe scared to death

The latino skin in the container felt lazy to me, where are they coming from, is cobra behind it? Is he trying to take back the Island? Did he make a deal with the governement? We have no idea

There is nothing wrong with cobra as a announcer. The thing is if you add these elements as selling points it's important to give us as much backstory that can be used to understand the dlcs sets and cutscenes. Cobra is good but since we are only playing a multiplayer mode he does his job well. As a selling point for us to understand his role in this universe and why we see him so much this 900% needs to be expounded on.

I wouldn't mind little quips of dialog when you kill somebody be it by bullets or cyber arm. I know we have the a.i. assistant vo when you stick somebody, so kinda like that lol also if he has a back story I'm not picking it up when playing, I've had no clue.

I love Cobra!! And his lines ❤️He’s such a unique character..I even relate to his humor. It feels like hanging out with a friend. I absolutely love his jokes and the more “adult” tone of the game. Honestly, he should swear even more and throw in more sarcastic jokes! That’s what makes the game feel so authentic. Cobra is the heart of the game!!
It would be awesome if Cobra had a friend, maybe a robot, yeah… ..something like…CHAPPIE🥹😹😹. You know, like a “good cop, bad cop” dynamic, Cobra being the badass and the robot the chill, level-headed friend. This Idea because I really believe robots will be part of society in the near future, just like a toaster is today. Getting ahead of that and adding such an element could be a great move.

I’d love to have Cobra’s cosmetics, that would be awesome! Maybe in a special event dedicated to Cobra! 💥!!!

Cobra is a great character and one the gaming community needs as a whole. His bad-ass narration brings a dark humor that I chuckle to every time. One thing I would like to suggest is voice lines when we do particular moves, like an announcer. OTG is portrayed as a game show in the opening movie clips. Maybe cobra could yell out some quicker lines for individual players such as...

Ooo, did you see that shot!
Headshot, nice!
What a shot!
Nice...Fken...Shot!
That zeroes brains are over the wall!
What a snipe, i'm impressed!

Anyway, you get my drift. Maybe add the crowd yelling from afar also. Gives that upbeat, standing ovation kinda feel.

Master sergeant cobra is a great character for a bold uncensored trash spit talk which everyone needs to get from a friend character but also...
In true comradary at a shooting game with lore there always has them existing in the shooting a bit and proper sync of storyline with heavy indulge of what this character has gone through does give a good touch.
I liked the intro about brief definition of what hexes do for first timers.. and hope the lore really has a long one to keep players going it's not like zombie's will exist in the game or will they.. just love it all keep it going OTG TEAM

  1. Cobra is an excellent announcer for the game, but I believe there should be more voice lines added to keep things interesting. For instance, there could be 20 different ones for an extractor going off in Stork or the Zone Closing. This variety prevents repetition and keeps the gameplay engaging.

  2. As others have suggested, providing more backstory and lore about Cobra would be fantastic. We don’t know his origins or how he became the “Master Sergeant.” Exploring his past would add depth and character to the game.

  3. I particularly enjoy how Cobra narrates videos for updates and promotional content. His unhinged and humorous style sets him apart from other games that adopt a more serious and straightforward approach. By embracing his authenticity and making jokes, OTG stands out as a unique and entertaining experience.

Scump’s reaction to Cobra calling him a “TikTok F-goblin” was priceless. It’s rare to see a game hire creators and then roast them in promotional videos. This unique approach is both hilarious and memorable. OTG should capitalize on this opportunity and lean into it even more.

He is best, i understand what he says with my poor english and his dialogues brings fun to the game, he should have more and different voicelines in active match, also videos with him (OTG story) are the best on gaming history, it would be nice in game to hear more dialogues, or some humor to how many teams left, if was some high KD team wiped or have his voice in more spicy situations.

Is cobra the guy who narrates, is in the cinematics, the "rough, straightforward soldier"?

If that's him then I have him turned down to almost silent.
Hearing an extraction may be useful at times otherwise I don't want to hear him at all ever. I like the attitude it adds but not while I'm actually playing. Keep him in cinematics that I can skip.
I don't want to hear someone talking to me when I play.
I rather have the new DJ music play in the background

Cobra insults us...but I found it so funny In the context of the game. He still has his cyberlimbs, so he's still fighting. Is he a gladiator master from the future ? It would be interesting to see how he got there and how he trains the new recruits. We already know how he recruited Santa Claus 😁

Cobra is not a serious enough hardass to be a drill instructor lmao. He's kind of a caricature for sure, but he gives off marine with no filter energy. Some old friends had/have similar attitudes even before they got booze in hand.

I love Cobra (Make him a skin) & I love the actor in literally every movie he's in & I love the dialogue that he brings, but drop the backstory or some more intro videos. We've been in Beta for almost a year & went through battlepasses & everything (nit complaining just stating) but we're starving for lore & backstory on all of this, or atleast me & my people are. Maybe too much… but It would be awesome if Cobra had varied lines, something like “Cobra powered by AI,” like NVIDIA ACE’s Avatar Cloud Engine, with dynamic reactions. I mean, Cobra 🐍 would have its own personality with natural and adaptable dialogues. I’m just saying….that would be amazing 😹🤣. I know it’s too much

I like cobra, no idea what his story is, don’t think it’s ever been explained, the campaign did not do a very good job of it that’s for sure. No idea what drives him, He could do with way more lines roasting every body and everything form all over, race / religion / sexuality / The crazy ones 😜 etc etc. Would love a cobra skin! Overall I like him a lot funny character
