In my experience if the whole lobby is crashing then it's servers. If it's individual then it's latency.

Rocket leak can run on 8mb download and 1 upload. But it has to be consistent.

If there is any interruption that other games don't care about, rocket League will freak the heck out.

So if you notice the whole lobby is dying and pinging weird then it's servers, but if it's just you then I promise you need to go yell at your internet company LOL

They have more servers right now than they ever have since they opened up the central region servers.

its not that bad solo i mostly play it that way just depends on luck for matchmaker but most higher level guys will stick together and know what to do

this game is way worse solo though like any battleroyale i guess as you spend a ton of time getting ready to get brutalised by a full team on coms 😛

finals you respawn fast enough and matches are pretty fast they also have a decent variety of modes like a payload pushing 5v5 where other than sitting on the platform and killing enemies on it there isnt much to think about teamwork wise haha

Throne and Liberty on the PC, you can switch the zoom between 3rd person, a very zoomed out ARPG view, and even 1st person (and all the views in between). It seems really interesting. I am running out of PC space ATM though so I am playing it on my Xbox (no changed views that I know about on there though I havent explored the options yet), which has had some major issues with the Left Stick and DPad in their menus/UI, forcing me to activate the Emergency Cursor by holding down left stick. I am so thankful to have learned about that, as I most likely would have given up right then and there. Not being able to access your inventory and skills menu in an RPG is really important, especially when it seems to work fine during gameplay lol

None of them can. They read the memory, create cheats and put them behind a DMA so the game’s anti- cheat cannot detect them. The peripherals are then controlled by the DMA/cheats running on an external system. Look at Zemie (google Zemie cheats) he has been at it for YEARS.

sure but what about the inevitable AI developed hacks? it is virtually impossible to completely eliminate cheating/hacking. it's simply two teams on opposite sides working to code solutions to the other side. neither side will ever be able to snuff out the other completely.

our best hope is the good side can win substantially enkugh for long enough for the cheat side to become unprofitable for the resources spent to develop hacks. but then again, some people don't do it for the money, but just for the challenge.

if the games would use encryption protection of the files in different separate folders, this can be avoided, but since the games are not programmed enough and incomplete games would have trouble decrypting the files in real time during gameplay (I'm talking about processors and discs), it is very difficult to implement these variations in the game for now

Yeah, this isn’t new and actually fairly complex to set up and expensive. You wont see alot of this going on in the console communities. All they are doing is feeding the video from the console to a PC, which then consumes the video and uses AI to track player models. In order to properly do it you would have to train various player models on a specific game once the AI detects a player, it then sends various inputs back to the console via another device.

The ripper in Exoborne does “expected levels” of damage, but the dash for it is pretty lame tbh. I much prefer how it is in OTG… except for the fact it does so much damage.

Both of these games have been in development for a long time, I doubt they have any interaction with each other.

I originally was wondering myself but came to the conclusion it’s not that unique or coincidental for game(s) to pursue futuristic aesthetics (that obviously would involve robotics) and to target extraction shooter genre, etc, during this present era in the industry.

I didn't play the early access of OTG but the singleplayer screenshots I've seen look mind blowing

What I found cool was the lobbies are persistent. Basically drop in, drop out.

So you may spawn in but other players in the lobby could be wrapping up, heading to an extract.

Actually had a really funny moment where I was talking about this on stream, how they’re persistent servers, and I wondered how the game calculated where a safe place to spawn fresh players was, when suddenly a drop ship flew in and hovered infront of me and 3 dudes jumped out.

Turns out, it doesn’t care at all if the spawn is safe

It’s a good idea having the matches work that way. It means every queue is literally instant, apart from searching for teammates if you’re solo queuing trios. Solos is literally instant.

I don’t have much experience with many other extraction shooters so I’m not sure if this common practice but I enjoyed it.

I know right at first I was like wow this looks kool By the end I got sick and realized it basically an otg copy the one thing i noticed tho is otg seems to have way more fast passes I see a lot of games like the last 3 posted coming out soon i guess it's the new trend for the next 2 years

It is an extraction shooter like tarkov not a battle royale. But the movement in otg has always feelt a bit off and the limb looting annoyingly finicky. Exoborns playtest look like otg but the movement was actually way more fluent and the looting feelt alot nicer. They are 2 different types of games but otg has just added stuff instead of improving the core gameplay loop since release, and it has been my main concern with the game since the first test i joined.
