Games take a lot of time and effort to produce, then have to be updated and maintained. It's always people who know zero about zero trying to ruin things for others.

If OTG isn't 100% perfect when released, Dr.Lecture is the kind of people to not only leave a bad review, but also go around to other servers asking other to do the same. I'd block him now while you still have the chance

I get your point - I just don't feel that its relevant here. People have already invested hundreds, if not thousands into Apex. Its a multi billion dollar game already. If people were pirating/review bombing/complaining about smaller games and their monetisation models for studios struggling to recoup development costs I would 100% agree with you. But it's not, it's just publishers being greedy (which some studios themselves dislike but unfortunately can't speak up like players can).

It's okay to be frustrated with other people being negative towards games and it's also okay to be frustrated with publishers at times.

Yes, it's interesting. Has a bit of the Champions vibe in the tasks and missions that get handed out to you, always a rabbit to chase. Solo'd the first boss that it advised you to team up for and beat him the first try, so it's in baby bunny mode apparently.

For me It was a pretty normal game , fight scenes did the major part for it , other than that maybe a bit of a story and cinematic scenes and then nothing really . It was obvious the fight scenes were their primary goal , even the texture rendering works way better in fight scenes but when u exploring the world or solving puzzles etc it was boring mostly and about world design I swear they just copy pasted some prebuild stuff from ue5 library without any editing 😅

'The Finals' for sure, it's got good fast paced game play & Tournament mode is 3 v 3 v 3 v 3. I feel its good way to practice before the mayhem begins on Off the Grid. Not much out there that lets teams third party but i feel that could be crucial tactic vs strong teams in OTG.

Their high textures aren’t optimized like how modders do it is what I’m saying. Your problem is easily resolvable by changing the textures to medium, there’s not even a noticeable difference with the default textures in medium -> high

If they want their game to be playable, they have to make it within reason to have the software work with substandard or even low quality PCs. I've always said u can make a xbox for super cheap and sell it for just over the orice u built it for and u will in the long run sell more making more money, but instead they make it for cheaper sell it for expensive and then wonder why their not making more money, its cuz they priced it to high nobody can afford it

There's risk that comes to that, such as a smaller paycheck. The executives don't like that so the prices stay up, the prices get higher. You get inflation INSIDE a video game such as Apex because they want MORE money without risking a different strategy

And don't get me wrong - I like dopamine shots like TFD. But the game is incrediblely low quality in terms of quest/narrative/character/environment designs. I refuse to spend a penny on TFD for that reason - I'd rather support creative studios like Remedy who appreciate the craft of making video games.

But that's gamers fault, not the studios. Gamers are what creates the market - which is ultimately what rules publishers decisions in terms of investment. Why invest in a creative risk when you can just make a cash grab like TFD that you know people will play?

I can see us hitting a loop in this conversation so I'm backing out of it. You simply don't like story games and you don't like seeing individual pixels. When (or even if you do) you make a game company that goes above the demands of your consumers, I will invest in a heartbeat.

Like this! More companies need to do this, also gaming companies need to invent something like an "alpha/beta thing", they already have that but im talking something right after the beta. Called "pre-launch" where they launch the full game openly like a beta and they give us a survey saying wat can they do to make it better, long? Shorter maybe, add modes? Add guns? Get feed back before the actual real launch

I love video games as a medium - and the craft of interactive storytelling. And personally I'm happy with the games I play because I keep my library diverse. I rarely will play games on release unless I know performance is good on them. It's no loss for me.

If the sold the game for say 25-30 American dollars pooerer people will notice they can afford the amazing triple A game and then ending up selling over 100million copies cuz the game was so cheap everyone or mostly every was able to buy it. To me thats a no brainer, thats more money in the long run
