Best way is to farm hexes and extract them. Collect as many items as you can and during the events play long and hard.

Keep in mind this is all speculation and you need to have KYC and mainnet to be able to transfer items out of the in-game market/in-game wallet to be able to sell on OpenSea for any real money.

Alternative path:
Buy and sell OTG items on Opensea for profit, but your trading skill will determine how much you can make and there is a chance you lose some money too. The market for items however is relatively stable - which is interesting even if items are hovering very low right now in terms of their USD value.

Reality:
It takes time to accumulate items so you have to grind. Nothing is promised because we need a liquid market for anyone to really make any money in the long run.

Have fun, but if money is your primary goal, you won't make it here... at least not right away.
