Honestly a lot of things in the game feel great, are there any thoughts to adding secondary function to limbs down the line based on button hold/directional use? or adding augment slots for passives (cooldown reduction, movement+, emp effect reduction etc)?

So many ways it can evolve from here has me loving seeing what you guys cook up

We've discussed it, but there's a common thread along the lines of how we're not sure if tap vs hold for different functionality will feel good. I'm on the side of multiple methods of activation, but others aren't so I either need to become a better salesman or at the very least we prototype it for a specific limb I have in mind for future updates and see how it feels. Often-times in games it's easier to sell someone on the idea of something if you can put it straight into their hands and let them try it out

Roadrunners was overclocked for movement and left little to no room for other options to shine the rollback was necessary so other options could be viable and new limbs to have ground for creation tbf

I hear you, but there's a lot of moving parts that I'm trying to realign with these overall changes and the general vision of what Cyberlimbs are to the game, and instant light-speed roadrunners just isn't viable under those constraints as it results in every other limb needing to be buffed, which goes against the new ethos I'm trying to implement and enforce. It'll become clearer with the patch notes hopefully 🙂

Its not about skill gap or casual this or that, its about balance, it provided an incredible amount of universal mobility and not just speed, side motion and no drag on momentum so instantaneous bursts of direction. it was incredibly unbalanced which is why it felt fun and leveraged by 'skilled players' because people at the top are bots and live for metas

Using a controller is like driving a Honda Civic vs a Lamborghini. The stock Honda Civic can't do anything vs the Lambo, its literally superior hardware, just like Mnk is superior to controller. If you want the Civic (controller) to be in the same race as the Lambo (mnk) you need to let the Civic put on suspension, emgine swap, and a big turbo (AA) otherwise it doesn't stand a chance, its literally inferior hardware. It needs to not be overdone though, otherwise the Civic becomes more powerful than the Lambo 😂
