I disagree. The only thing missing is an audience that can be restored through marketing. The concept is intact, and the gameplay is good if you ignore the suffering of casual players. But even that can be solved with ranked, which will appear in the game sooner or later.

And that's not even mentioning how much content we haven't seen yet.

this games largest problem is new player retention.

that and completely unbalanced combat at the moment. the current state of bounce bombers and the mirror breakers have caused alot of hardcore players to abandon the game.

the skunkpaw and sluggers got over-buffed. they needed a buff but they went overboard with them. performance issues stemming from all of these 4 limbs being spammed.

the good thing is that all of this is easily fixable.

the question i think on alot of people's minds is why isn't it? Hopefully we see some balance to the limbs with the new update.

They have had plenty of people try the game but they can’t keep anybody cause they keep making the game worse, people who had hundreds of hours just quit playing and never returned

alot of gear is tied up in inactive accounts.

alot of accounts will wake up for full map though. alot will wake up just for Halloween/Night Mode.

the big update a couple of months ago optimized for steam. along with that update came mirror breakers and the bouncebomb buff and also attachment changes and wall jumping AND the UI changes. it was too much at once.

deathmatch lobbies was also restructured and there are less lobbies per server now as well.

I hope this coming update fixes some of this.

The first issue was the limb nerfs then multiple recoil reworks and the contracts reduced payout plus that losing so much money for a while everyone just finally had a reason

supply run is by far the best imo. it gives you 3 targets at once and gives each team member a case with weapons/limbs and $2000 each

a good team can finish a supply run in less than 60 seconds

you should be able to do 2 in less than 3 minutes. thats 4000k add to that a netrunner for $1500 which lets you know where the circle is headed and you've got loadout money.

we also loose only 20% now on death. thats a huge improvement imo.

not all of the changes were bad. wall-jumping rocks. unfortunately came with a bug that gives us trouble climbing certain objects/surroundings.

start at a corner of the map and when you fly in with your team fly in low separated by about 200 yards. as you fly in it will reveal more missions. separate yourself from the pack by watching the jump count. do all of this and money will be no issue.

also more hexes and drones etc as those missions pop up when you fly in low.

having a good team is the most important thing.

because if you can't get all 3 people to agree to a plan you definitely won't have enough money between people slacking off and having to buy them back.
