Game development is chaos, there's no other real way to word it. There's an old joke that goes "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans". Game dev is the same deal, you plan and plan and plan and then one person gets sick and your entire milestone is suddenly in jeopardy, or someone has a better idea mid-way through and you pivot a bit, and it's just like rowing a boat on a river that's flowing in from multiple directions.

For example, the Flenser’s TTK seems fine, but in-game with how fast players move, it takes 3–4 effective shots to kill, which just isn’t competitive compared to other weapons

Yeah the main issue is that without drastically changing the rate of fire, if I nerf the damage to make it work better, it completely bricks the weapon. If I speed it's RPM up and lower damage to compensate, then it basically becomes the Ichnya anyway.

Only thing I've been able to come up with for it recently is to give it a bit less accuracy when on the move, but I'm not convinced it's anywhere near enough for it

Aye that's the trade-off with the new way I'm handling attachment stats, it's better for choice without having to fight the internals of every attachment as much as before. That being said, more velocity on more attachments would help, it just needs to make sense and currently the Barrel and Muzzle are the only ones that should impact the velocity outside of the receiver, which cannot be changed.

Might be something for the future with Tactical attachments, will have to see what I can come up with

Kestrel Punisher is a locked weapon that can't be modified, it had it's own baked in stats for ADS speed that were mistakenly not removed when I reworked the attachment system. I haven't nerfed the barrel directly, it'll work the same way on other weapons that use it as it does now, it's just that the Kestrel Punisher's core stats were wrong

Kestrel Punisher does 10% more damage to Armour but then 20% less to the Body, which doesn't include the limbs which should be the normal 100%. I can try to check into any inconsistencies with limb damage with it to see if something funky is going on.

It takes 5 shots to kill most often, i use it just because the ads is short, if you will nerf it again instahead of buff, i will using ichnia or boomslang same way, you will not help this until you release sniper with faster ads, And there mostly isn’t issue with guns but with servers registering hits.

Yea I have had superior results from steams audio . It's kinda freaky how you can here how far or close and which direction behind you they are.

You could hold one extra and NOT be detected on map.

it dies in grid it doesnt last for ever so it has a weakness, i cant remember if it recharges anymore.
Your asking to carry more hexes and it not be detected, so asking for two perks with zero drawback
and if your saying the grid pack should be able to carry an extra then its still two perks ?

they should have a pack for more hexing and exfill but should come at the cost of movement or shields etc, more reward more risk

No so you’re saying that the soldier backpack reloads but loses time at recharging limbs this backpack would lose time recharging limbs and reloading and take more zone damage compared to the gridshield but it gives you advantages on hexes

no im saying that every pack as a negative, solider doesnt reload non stop its negative is that 200% base speed or whatever you set it to just like limb doesnt automatically reset your usage instantly, the time consideration of them is the negative, so having a hexpack with no drawback is just ehh
