And the biggest for me is mirroring enemies movement vs aiming at them. If you're moving similar to them in direction, it minimizes the amount of aiming you need to do by a lot

A lot of people think AA is just magnetizing to the enemy character, which is slightly correct, but the other part is that when you are close to/on target,it slows down your sensitivity, to help make sure you don't pull off the target as easily. Where it becomes an issue is when the enemy is moving quickly and you're trying to track them, but the AA slows down the sens just before you're actually on them, causing you to miss because the sensitivity assist is too high

see this is one of the issues with AA, its 100% needed for this game(at a reduced rate imo) but the lower skilled players arent going to enjoy it reduced or zero AA they already tried that and only the sweats remained on controller that AA didnt really matter cause they can still aim with or without AA even with the reduction in speed and movement the game is still very fast paced thus the AA is needed for the more casual controller player so its kinda like where do we find the middle ground for that balance

Oh I was basically just echoing what you and some others were discussing. How Slowdown assist ( Sensitivity Assist ) set too high can hinder the player and that optimal slowdown values are ones that slightly over-encapsulate the players visual model. (Lower values, not too high)

Then I was to mention how, due to the above mentioned concept, the most recent AA “nerf” we saw which reduced maximum SA values was actually not a nerf but rather a minor optimisation to the average player’s settings.

Basically just echoing and decided I wasn’t contributing anything groundbreaking. Didn’t feel like going into the whole “Why RAA is impossible to balance without implementing a substitute penalty for the human reaction time tax that mnk players experience” or other yap-esque topics.

It was a good player's paradise. One of the devs talked about how they came out too strong (perfect) and how retention was affected by the insanely large skill gap. They said what they should have been done was start everything out slower, and then progressively ramp it up, verses being where it was and having to turn things down. Fov wise, this is the only game that wishes to have a competitive platform that doesn’t offer a personal choice for fov. The way the fov is handled is atrocious. Every thing is zoomed differently, sometimes it doesnt even unzoom its just bad. But as @trail hull they’ve had a year almost for optimization, they can say “it has come a long way” but it is just not enough. We have potato graphics as everything on low making the game ugly and its still giving bad fps
