#Unions, Buildings & Great Powers

I’ve had no interaction so far besides enacting new laws.
I appreciate the help, there should be a simple, immediate diplomatic option to leave.
Diplomatic action as in, click the other country's diplomatic actions (as in friendly actions, hostile actions, economic actions, etc.), and look under "union actions", is it there?
I'm not in a union right now so I cant check, but I’ll give it a try next run after my break
found this
That's the one, if you want out of the union then get their opinion up to 100 and see what happens if you click it
does it look like you might end up putting one of your relatives on their throne? how is that supposed to let me leave the Union? It feels clunky and confusing. The issue remains: leaving still takes time and steps instead of a simple "leave" option we’ve been asking for. Thanks anyway
A union is, by definition, a bunch of countries who all have the same ruler. If for any reason those countries no longer have the same ruler, the union ends
that helps, thanks. Hopefully we’ll get something quicker and simpler in the future
Assuming that button works like I think it works, then it is in fact a simple kick from union button; the only slight complication is needing 100 relations (OR they have < 50 legitimacy), which is usually pretty easy to get with improve relations
yeah, I agree it’s not too complicated, but it still takes steps. I still think a quicker option would be better. In the meantime, you can get dragged into unwanted wars because of it
overall, it’s better not to force players down a path they didnt choose
You can religion flip, just like eu4.
There is a great powers menu.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Anglicanism only kicks in if you’ve got a king without heirs between 1530 and 1560
but sure, you already hit dislike
even with 100+ relations, still rejected me for a few months. I eventually broke free from the union. Thanks again for the help 💯 it still feels a bit "slow" imo. We will see
So a specific historical religion only appears in its specific historical context. What's the issue here?
It’s not really a issue, but being able to choose Anglicanism at a specific point "would add flexibility." The risk is that the event might not fire at all. From what I’ve read, and from my own experience, in a couple of runs I never even got the option and stayed Catholic. So it’s not exactly that historical
also, we’re used to EU4, where you could actually switch to anglicanism
You've got Lollard, at least three more Catholic heresies, and then all the protestant faiths. That's not enough for you?
The problem is the visibility of the Anglican event and the conditions are probably too strict. That issue should be improved but pretty much all other religions work fine. I assume protestant England runs are perfectly viable for the player
You first framed it as historical accuracy "specific historical religion only appears in its specific historical context". But when I point out the event might not even trigger because the conditions are too strict, you switch to there’s already enough content.
Which is it?
No one said it’s "not enough" for me. It is. Im fine playing a Catholic England. The point is suggesting improvements.
All you seem to do is throw random takes, and like your own comments. You post daily, by your logic, what’s "not enough" for you then?
These arent complaints. They’re suggestions. Wake up.
