Playing as portugal, and up to 95% of my settlers DIE because of desiese when colonising CAPE VERDE! Even in other places in africa they all die. I know its historical that settlers died because of desieses but really 95%? I am sertain it was NOT that high and im sending almost 120 pops per charter so its like a huge waste of pops at this point. (It used to be more than in the Picture)

Based on the vic3 mechanics, Portugal shouldn't be able to colonize much of Angola until a few decades into that game

Cape Verde is weird but the Angola colony should be that punishing
Almost everything between the red lines should be unobtainable to Eurasians via colonisation. Only conquest should be possible but extremely difficult
For reference, this was the extent of European gains by the end of the game's duration, let alone the age of exploration
