Empire map mode

Would be nice with a map mode that shows all the fiefdoms and vassals as same or more similar colour with the host/overlord being the name over them.

So like the players mapmode from eu4 (well for you only at least). I dig it. There is an option to color them to be similar or the same color as the overlord on the political map in the meantime

I mean, the setting does just that, color them the same, and theres also one for displaying overlord's name over them

Are you able to recognise in the image who owns what countries?

You dont have the setting turned on. Theres one for all vassals to have the exact same color as the overlord.

This is at the bottom of the Map tab in settings. Use it just like I set mine up, and I think that's what you're looking for

Country Names on Map is just preference. Removes "Kingdom of ..." and the likes, so it looks more like EU4

Personal Unions aren't colored in, since they're not exactly subjects, but the International Organizations Show as Overlords colors them. Tho I really don't like that setting, as it colors the HRE to an ugly bohemia color at the start

Why have one more mapmode for something you can already do tho?

And the Players mapmode shows vassals as well, so I just don't see the reason

If you go to diplomacy it will show which are fiefdoms and vassal and so on colour coded and all on map
