It's literally intentional because thats what would happen if your army got stuck in a mountain during the winter 😭

Like I'm not trying to be mean, but this is intentional game design not a bug, if you don't want to get stuck in the mountains keep an eye on how close winter is, which you should be doing anyway 😭
