#3D Armour looks odd

That’s just because armour irl looks ridiculous tbh
True, but something fundamentally looks wrong with it. It's not metallic enough, like it's made of cloth of something
Weirdly it looks too shiny
The shape around the head doesn't look quite right
Ah yeah the face should be slightly more shadowed
And slight further into the helm I think
The Armour is out of period. Full plate wasn’t a thing during the mid 14th century.
Also what bothers me the most is how everyone in the ME region wears the same clothes and hats. But I guess we have DLC for that.
the guy on the far right is a more accurate representation.
2nd from right looks just as odd as the first pic from post tbh
Maybe not as much so. Original pic kind of looks like someone photoshopped a face on a pic lol
Not even close in my eyes
Not perfect, but miles and miles better. Looks like the EU5 one is from a game that was made 10 years before.
The portraits are silly in eu5 anyways but I digress
God all I read anywhere is imperator
Because I:R is the skeleton on which EU5 was made
Can we just not have these 3D models, CK3 and VIC3 are goofy af already

I mean… isn’t it mainly cause of a difference in time period? Wasn’t the eu5 time period where more heavier armor started being common (until guns came along?)
Yeah but it shouldn't be in 1337.
But I understand the choice to just go only full plate for launch, as it covers more of the period so it makes sense to do with limited time and resources.
That helmet looks goofy, does it have any historical precedent?
It's not really anything I've seen before
