Need for permanent repeatable content
- After story/event content is cleared, there is not much permanent content to keep playing.
- Right now, we have more characters to play than content to use them in.
- Major updates seem to come every 4–5 months, and the time between them feels like downtime.
- D-Tide and D-Dive exist, but players have already played them for around 2.5 years
-
Suggested mode idea
- Add a permanent mode like Endless Tower / Abyss Challenge / Infinite Expedition.
- It should have multiple difficulty levels, similar to HSR.
- Players climb floors or venture through stages with increasing difficulty.
- Since the main theme is Keepers fighting Dissolution, a “Dissolution Rate” increase the further players go and apply penalties.
-
Stage structure
- Each floor/stage can be short, similar to W3/W4 in D-Tide.
- Every few floors could add special rules, enemy modifiers, sanity effects, or unusual mechanics.
- Some stages could require specific roles or realms, like Lightless Realm conditions, to encourage different Awakeners.
-
Purpose of the mode
- Give players a reason to build more Awakeners.
- Encourage deck and team testing.
- Provide meaningful content between major updates.
-
Rewards
- Rewards do not need to be heavy if the gameplay itself is fun.
- 1st time clear reward to encourage player to beat it. And some repeatable reward.
-
Arcade mode issue
- After clearing it several times and maxing HSR level, it becomes repetitive.
- Boss/miniboss variations become predictable, and replaying solved content is less engaging.
-
Benefit to the game
- A breath of fresh air through different enemies, weird mechanics, and changing stage conditions.
- Reaching higher difficulty or deeper stages create pride and progression in community.
- Increase player retention and make the game feel more alive between major updates.
#Permanent Repeatable Content for Long-Term Players
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I second this. Cleared all content after 4 months of playing, and now litterally nothing to do in game
So like... Arcade/HSR?
hsr is cheesable after a while
I agree with the post, but you didn't mention why Arcade doesn't fulfill your criteria
Yeah it becomes relic abuse, I think P-dive but Arc 2 would be nice to have
Arcade is too short, it has no stages/levels to use different teams and the rewards are mediocre at best
It is pretty much the same stage, you clear it 3-4 times and beyond that are just repetitive. Where is fun to clear the stage you already cleared lot of time already, right ?
thats too
good question btw, I should add reason why hsr not work
or may be create some guild system with guild raids/bosses etc
That is also interesting, and people will communicate to each other more.
actually, we have a university running, it could be a good basis for coop content xD
The biggest ask would honestly be some kinda community map builder so we can set up maps and encounters to export with an ID or smth
I do want to see Raids like the eyes but be community focused like the cats.
But to a much smaller extent.
But again there are other pain points people pointed out when they made taboo quests. Where people have to participate in things like traphase
Cause there were people who were feeling burnt out of the cat event grinding 100 cats
I also tossed up the idea of a mystery dungeon (basically an expansion to PDive)
But that would ALSO result in people having to play too much
Well, the bully that cat event is the best example of how bad it is when you have to keep beating same enemy over and over again.
right now we only have d-tide. I would gladly take anything to play more at this point. except for traphase ofc
Just make P-Dive with Arc 2 rule is enough for me. Maybe add something to make it more interesing
p-dive has almost no rewards. I feel no motivation to play it
agreed
dtide is also a little ehh to me, because from what i can tell, most people complete it in 1-2 days, then spend the rest of their time doing
something?
something is reenacting energy in an event....
Some people actually optimise it after their first run of it
Agree, P-dive with arc 1 rule and relic is ughhhh.
I remember they used to allow player to adjust the difficulty by ourselves. They can bring that back.
Another concept I am thinking is like, you are fighting dissolution so the further stage or difficulty you go, the debuff effect like dissolution rate will increase and apply more penalty to player to increase challenge.
And yeah, P-dive reward also too bad considering the time you have to use for each clear.
People abused it in the past. The adjustable difficulty thing
I just run it daily for fun since there's nothing much to do and I want to enjoy me awakeners
People were doing gentleman agreements by making sure everyone using the same modifiers to make like 1000+ people place in number 1
I see
China side mostly were doing it
En didn't care at all
That's why it now has a timer
So that's it's almost impossible to get top rewards like it's nothing
me too, and I think many keeper also doing that, login > dump stamina on event with one click > claim daily quest> nothing to do
There is a positive to that. You get to be done with the game and do something else
It really depends on a person to person
I think PDive gridning is an option
If you want the LV rewards
Same for train mode.
But it will always get repetitive
No matter how you look at it
You can take one look at CZN for example it has many rougelite gameplay and even added a slay the spire like mode
And it's such a grind
there gotta be a point between nothing to do and endless grind, for sure
As I said. PDive levels farming
both extreme ends are bad
Yeah, but how about people who want to spend more time in-game.
We need at least an option to bring our awakener to touch some new grass.
We have even more awakener than it needed to clear 425Dtide right now.
Turbo veterans doing 425, sure. But not everyone do it cause they aren't that veteran built
I suppose the developer has something like a roadmap, may be they could hint us what to expect in the future
Also don't forget they are veeeery strapped for team size
The train mode is still an experimental mode that hopefully will get expanded upon one day
yes sure. I do not ask to issue new modes tommorow or something
I'm paraphrasing
You getting the wrong point here, what I mean is that we have too few content to even use our awakener. I personally never did 425 as well since no benefit for that.
it is just that here we have lots of players with vast experience in other gachas, so their wishes or opinions might give some directions to the developer
We will see what 3rd ani entails since that's when GTulu is expected to drop along with many new additions (or maybe later)
Mh...
I am expecting a huge expansion in content aspect, they have money to allowed that now.
More awakener did not solve the boredom since in the end it just a new way to beat the same monster.
cat said they are making "the large roguelike" or as they said "HSR but longer"
since he said before "HSR is just a teaser of the big one"
Hope they include brand new cool stuff in.
For me I like the event relics(character event), I hope they made true roguelike into that you can get them(event relics) randomly in each playthrough, that would be sick.
Though they are raising expectations when they are making the mode for this long🔥
Thanks for sharing, hope it come out soon !
Give me weekly dtide reset
I too would like more end game modes. Specifically those that requires you to use multiple teams
D-tide is great because it forces creativity by limiting units
If possible, I would like to see a game mode that allows you to use all your characters
Imagine the community being stuck in floor 147 where the fight has upwards of 180m hp
and everyone is trying to just push through
gacha progression tower could be fun regardless
for whales or veterans to try and push high
many gacha games have tower mode, which is not catered towards whales
agreed, the teambuilding is a little stressful at times, but I enjoy it
still waiting for the "slay the spire" gamemode that was mentioned ages ago
i think that may have been hsr
if true then i think they didnt play the same sts as i did cuz theres 0 deckbuilding when the whole point of sts is deckbuilding 💀
Sts mode with playable Keeper where you build your deck from all Awakener cards
yeah i would expect it to be like that
or at least units from 1 realm then some special color cards can be made for this mode ig
So you want Anni raid but permanent
Voluntary anni raid
No matter how much more different modes devs will add it's not gonna be enough
Instead I would rather have more refined versions of what we have now
tower mode with 100 floors. monthly rotation, would be enough
xD
refined HSR would be also ok tho
People would just speedrun it in the first few days and then afk
well, what we have at this moment is too few. Need more + refine
nah, if make it like in other gachas, it could become a major content, challenging for anyone
guild coop content would help even more
You can look up the Afk arena temporal rift on YouTube - it's exactly what you described (tbf it's even more cause there's more than 600 floors) and people just speedrun it and then proceed to afk
Not sure if you know this, but what we have right now is almost the very same content as we have since game start, except for HSR
so imagine that
And it's still a piece of shit except dtide
I play summoners war, a veeeery old gacha. it has tower mode with 3 difficulties, the top difficluty is a struggle even for veterans.
but manageable
not impossible
So when you say no matter how much they add not gonna be enough, we never know if it is gonna be enough or not, since they never add anything as new mode during 2.5 years except HSR.
You can just look up other gacha games to see the examples - this is not the Morimens exclusive problem but a gacha games as a whole - they're not meant to play 24/7, but instead in a short regular sessions
I know but other gacha game has something that drive you to be active from time to time, or shorter cycle of content update.
This is what dtide is for
Imagine an old player who have been here 2+ years with the very same content since start.
dtide also a recycle of stage, only when big patch updated every 4 months that a little bit of new variety was added.
otherwise it is the very same monster you beat last month or so
and the dtide itself took like 1-2 hours to get 400 point, then you have nothing to do for another half a month
So what you want is a "game mode with new enemies every week, where you can play endless stages and use all your chars"
that would be ideal, but no need to be new monster. that would be too much to ask.
Just utilize what they already have, and combine with some stage rule/debuff. and then re-pairing it every cycle and you already have a huge variation
Yeah - playing against the same old enemies that we already saw thousands of times , with the same relics and debuffs will totally solve the problem
If you have nothing to do in the game just make an alt account
What is your solution to this then ?
You said it doesnt mean to be 24/7 to be on the game and I agree with that. But right now, I have only 2 hours of content to play every half a month. Do you think it is healthy for the game ?
I already did that, many veteran bore to death and already done that, and we beat the story mode in 2-3 days. Without any joy at that
Ngl i feel like if they made a new mode itll probably end up with having a lot of reward tied to it which means even more monthly nonsense to attend to 😵💫
U already know how people feel about traphase
I feel like even in the timeline theyll make one itll end up being a repeat cycle of the same stuff again of clearing it and then getting bored again
This is how gacha games work
Hello to earth

But now everyone else who might not want it gets dragged into a new monthly thing to attend to
But yeah
Not really a fan of the idea of adding this
Ive tried all of the roguelike side modes of the big mainstream gachas
All terrible or mid
Meanwhile CZN overstays its welcome
If you want infinite content go play call of duty or something
And they want you to grin that shit
Or if you really hate yourself play GBF - but even it can be fully cleared in like a year
Some games are worth critizising for content drought depending on how busy the daily chores is (ENDDDDFIEEELLLLD) but i dont think Morrimens is one of them
well, those who do not want any more content can create a thread praising the current state of game. here we discuss what can be added actually
no offence
Bad gacha game, yes.
"The lack of content" is exactly why I like this game - daily quests can be done in less then a minute, and after that I can slowly do the DTide - with the pace I like
There are more things in the world other than Morimens - if you have nothing to do just install other game
lol
I ask for solution, and it is play other game.
I have nothing to talk in a non-productive conversation with you anymore
that is a re(g)arded take honestly
i just dont get why its an issue to disagree i guess.
Idk i experienced all the rogue side mode in all the other games and none of them ever been truly good to me to motivate me to want to repeat them over and over
like, there's no way they're going to make a game mode without tying some reward to it, otherwise, it's wasted effort
Yeah, if you didn't know - if you're bored with something you should concentrate on something else
like the moment you make it an obligation like CZN's Sortie for gameplay stuff that actually strongly benefits you is the moment it actually feels worse to me because instead of looking forward to it, i kinda just, dread about the grind i'll have to do for it
I just dont know what would be the right solution to this, really, cuz so far every game mode Morimens has aside from the one time clear Lightless has some obligation for you to attend every month including trapphase 150 cards, so its clear they aren't willing to make an optional mode without tying some gameplay reward to it you have to revisit every month
Which is great for people who wanted more out of morrimens, but probably annoying for those who dont want it
and what if the mode somehow comes accross as 'not good enough'? that people still wanted more
it is that simple - some people, like me, would like to play this game more than 1 hour per week.
yeah but that comes at the expense of everyone else who doesn't want that
thats why the argument happened in the first place and someone earlier showed up being againts it
yes. this thread is made by and for people who feel the same
I respect your opinion tho
no solution is good for everyone
Im just putting my cents in that the idea of a proper roguelike mode in this game feels a bit of a concern because the mobile game market and roguelite do not mix
roguelites are games you play when you feel like it
i've played OSFE and Gunfire Reborn and i had fond memories of those game because its stuff i play because i want to
actually roguelike mode is just 1 of million solutions to content drought. Devs could implement other things as well
I dont understand this point. Will there be any effect to you if the content was added and it is a 1 time clear reward ?
so you can play it anytime you want, today or next 10 year
i mean, trapphase/HSR/P-Dive so far has monthly incentives to do them again
and so is the endgame eery two weeks
so it doesn't sound like they want to make one without some form of monthly incentive at minimu,m
for those...I understand it. I also did not do traphase thing as well. I gave up the reward
traphase is like 20 minutes time worth... and as rewards are lacking, it can be totally ignored
i probably cant resist doing trapphase because i need those pure cores rn :(
The only solution I can see is for the devs to have more manpower - cause the core of the problem is not "lack of content" but "lack of new enemies, instead of mindless new game modes that they can add however much they want
I have a tendency
to want to do everything i can do in a game
no matter how lame it is
FOMO ....
its why Endfield upsets me so much because there's so much bullshit chores in it daily lol
thats why the topic of this thread is Repeatable. It is not for -able to play it as much as you want- but for -fun enough to play again-
but yeah im just like, give u my two cents that this can easily become a "monkey paw curls" moment
And the only "clever" thing you suggested is another forgettable game mode with same enemies and debuffs
judging by their decision choice with the current existing modes outside of the story
and you "cleverly" suggest people to install another game.
Cause it sounds like you're bored with the game
Yes, because the game did not have new thing for 2.5 years already.
if it is 1-2 month then yes, I might should play another game for a while
i mean can you really blame em considering the type of struggle this game dealt with lol
but 2.5 years ?
like did you not remember that Arc 1 was speedrunned into a condensed story because they went all in thinking this game is gonna shut down at the expensive of events 😭
No matter how many modes the game would have, if you play it for 2.5 years you would still get bored with it
You're fighting with windmills
Heard of gacha game like Umamusume ? you hardly have time to felt bored with that
thats subjective dude 😭
He tell me to look up other gacha game, so dont blame me
This is the same thing as GBF - you'll grind it until you have everything, and then you'll just wait for box events and grind baha
It's not a solution
This is a game suggestion thread for future improvements ,no one is blaming devs. Yes the game was near eos but we can move past that reason and hope more for future 3rd anni and more
if you are satisfy with the game state right now, that is your personal feeling and I dont mind that.
But dont tell me to -install other game- that is childish answer and produce no value toward this topic.
Agree, and I think they now have a capabilitie to do more now than ever after Saya collab. That is the reason I want to give my suggestion around this time.
While they have money to plan more development.
i think, it'll be fine enough if they make a new mode but only if they're willing to make it a one time clear thing that gets updated once in a long while
i'm just hoping they wont resort to a monthly run thing
like HSR did
Agree with some part of it, but if the reward is not premium thing like silver I think that would be fine. Like, give us rose scrip or Exp potion.
even after all these time we still lacking those common resource
light give us the slay the spire mode plz
only if they let me skip it
like no signifcant rewards?
yeah personally im fine with that since its supposed to be a for fun mode anyway
just cook whatever you cooked with Tide but again
Honestly I'm okay if there isn't rewards (or 1 time rewards)
I just want to use multiple teams and puzzle solve
D tide is the only game mode in all gacha that let's me use 10 different teams and I love it. Past the first 5 clears, we don't get any rewards anw
@zealous kestrel 425!
Another 3 hours of gameplay
tomorrow then !
I wanna more repeatable content, d-tide so boring
i honestly think dtide puzzle solving is lame
why am i building up an account with fun teams just to starve them as much as possible and have some painful ass runs
Exactly my thought, why would we want to invest in our beloved team just to separate them apart. Personally, it is the least fun game mode for me.
my favorite part of dtide is usually clearing for the rewards, resetting all the runs and then testing waves with fully invested ideal teams
also i think the discussion about monthly fomo of missing out on rewards is kind of stupid, having a month to do 1 HSR run on the lowest diffculty, 150 cards in pvp, and 3 pdive runs on the lowest difficulty is honestly incredibly easy
like if you dont want to play the game just dont play it
i personally want to spend MORE time in morimens testing different things, using my awakeners and enjoying my experience
morimens is one of the least time sensitive games ive ever played and people are still complaining
Like idea d-tide cool but it's a bit anoying do all the same every 2 weeks, tryharding on A5 and forget about testing someting because "you don't clear dtide rn". In this case tower with mob/elite/boss fight sounds cool and something like "On this level you can't use this this and this unit, and this this and this wheel. Have fun!" also i really wanna final boss fight outside the story mode and HSR
I want extra extra clears on my d tide
Unlocked after completing all extra clears once
I'm making a list with post that need to be checked, could you possibly make a concise list of the points developed in the post and in the comets?
Done, I have update the main post as well.

This also take in to account various points from the comments?
mostly yes
I would add to this list guild coop mode, like a raid boss
just a suggestion. actually, coop in any format would be great
Raid....
-# guild would be cool
a slay the spire mode would be cool
doesn't have to be a guild
can be a student group

School Clubs!
for Mythag University!
(C)
We already have guilds.
Discord 😅
Also not everyone likes raiding, too many people disliked the cats or the eyes.
I feel like even if they make a biweekly raid mode where you have to use 3 teams (or maybe 1 and make it have a turn limit where you have to contribute via DMG)
Might get old quick. As op said in one of the posts. The game lacks enemy variety
One of the biggest problem with those is the fact that you have to do the same fight 10 times
real? recent enemies have pretty varied mechanics tbh
Tide is fun because you need to problem solve.
Cat and Eyes only problem solve once. The rest is repetitions
They're okay for events, but probably not as an end game mode
