On Ethereal Cores replacing Luminous Cores: Yes, that’s the current plan — starting with the Arachne event, Ethereal Cores will generally replace Luminous Cores in event shops/exchanges. However, some special events will still use Luminous Cores, such as the upcoming School Active event.

As for the Ethereal Cores themselves: they won’t disappear, but they will transform after the version ends. During the version, you can use them as Luminous Cores; any that remain when the version ends will automatically convert into Pure Cores and stay in your inventory. More details are in our follow-up announcement.

On 1★ skins and the free period: You’re right that most 1★ skins have been given out through events first, and that’s been our general approach. To be transparent: nearly all 1★ skins are variant illustrations or minor variations of previously released art — that’s been our expectation for 1★ skins from the start.

That said, this won’t necessarily apply to every skin going forward, and there may be special arrangements in certain cases. For Helot and Nautila specifically, the skins are still event rewards — you don’t need to spend any Silver Prime you already have. Earning Silver Prime through the event is simply part of the process.
