With the lastest major patch, the Curiculum premium track was upgraded to provide triple rewards from the daily which is nice. The problem is that bonus(along the ability to rewind turns and use everything in Traphase) is entirely tied to the duration of the battlepass.

If you buy it on the last day of the battlepass, you literally get no benefit edit: You do get the xp/standard pulls retroactively, but you don't get all the dream verves due to cap. If the battlepass is shortened(like the next one from dec 15th to dec 29th), then you simply get less days for the same price.

I think instead of this system, it should provide something that works like the Moonphase Vigil(subscription) for a set number of days regardless of when you buy it. So you spend money on premium, you always get 28days of triple daillies/rewind/traphase unlocks. Doesn't matter when you buy it or how long the battlepass runs for, you always get 28days so the full value's worth, so it doesn't feel bad to spend on this upgrade if you don't buy it on day1 or if it's shortened.

(except daily globes are still capped at 10 so you'll lose most of those)

but that doesn't mean much with a shortened battle pass where the rewards to miss aren't there to begin with

yes, if you buy it midway through a bp season it retroactively grants you all the silver and standard pulls you missed out on

yeah but then if you don't buy it when you unlocked the previous one you also pay 780 instead of 600 which is another questionnable thing tbh

Did they say that the next battle pass price will be the same? Or is it possible that they half the price? I mean, charging full price for half the time would be greedy af

it was about the premium features triple daily/rewind/traphase, the normal rewards are fine for the free/first tier of paid bp with the added xp or in general(can buy levels if needed and it's easy to cap even not playing the entire duration)

normally premium bp is 600 silver prime for 28 days of triple daily rewards, which comes to:
56 standard pulls + 4140 silver total (including the purchase bonus)

this premium bp is 600 silver prime for 14 days of triple daily rewards, which comes to:
28 standard pulls + 2460 silver total (including the purchase bonus)

so they removed almost half the value

I think they fixed it in an announcement ? Idk the new value compared to 28 days, but they lowered it apparently

So we get compensation back when we buy it now for 1280? @coral current thr wording implies it but since the price for this curriculum wasn't adjusted after the patch I am not sure if you meant that only for the next shortened season pass. So I expect it for this season pass because of the wording.

the discount for shortened battle pass applies to future ones but not the current one ? is this a bug A_pinch

I further inquired with the project team about the update time for this feature, and this is the response：

We will try our best to implement this change within this Curriculum period.
Even if the change cannot be fully implemented during this Curriculum period, you can still feel confident in purchasing the Premium Topics for this period, as we will refund any excess Silver Prime paid in subsequent updates.
