SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 8 AND 9, as well as minor spoilers for Arc 2 Chapter 1

What is the arc 1 GDoll incident?

The GDoll incident is a significant event that shakes the dynamics of the world and directly affects the events of Chapters 8 and 9... assuming you can find it.
Yep, one of the most important side stories in the game never existed because its cut content that never got released, so all we have is tiny scraps and implications. So here I am answering the question everyone asks.

Who is arc 1 Gdoll?

Arc 1 Gdoll (im calling her GDoll from now on) is a copy of arc 2 Gdoll (GDoll2) sent to world 317 to "grant humanity the mercy of a swift destruction". Let's just say she knows something the Keeper doesn't yet (until arc 2).

The Bare Bones Timeline of the GDoll incident

no timestamps because i have no idea when this happens.

Elworth's Returnee (1 month after Ch 7)
Dexter notes the number of natural disasters are increasing (likely orchestrated by GDoll)

Keeper recovers GDoll from an avalanche. (arc2 info, might change as the translation gets updated)
1 month before Ch 8
GDoll infiltrates Mythag University, impersonating as Doll.
Keeper meets GDoll again, falls for her disguise.
While disguised, GDoll almost triggers a D-Rift using a silver bomb.
Keeper and Alistair confront and capture GDoll, and seal her in a sealing array somewhere in the depths of the Black Pool.
some time later
Keeper approaches GDoll (still sealed) to ask about what she saw that drove her to destruction, Alistair warns that she might try to sway Keeper to her side.
The discussion is fruitless.

Gdoll breaks and escapes the sealing array by destroying her own body and transferring her consciousness to one of Doll's spare bodies.
GDoll contacts Juliette.
Ch 8
GDoll detonates the Black Pool and dispels Mythag's mist wall.
GDoll traps and disconnects Doll from her body as she tried to contact Keeper.

Why should you care?

As mentioned, the GDoll incident is extremely important to understanding how Chapter 8 started in the first place, why she is even in arc 1, and sets up her character in Arc 2, yet what we have is woefully insufficient to understand what actually happened.
I don't know how canon her frenzy is to the incident, so I did not include it.

@fossil edge, I am once again requesting a release of the GDoll incident in its original form, if it still exists. The players deserve to not be confused by the story as soon as they hit Chapter 9.

Can confirm Gdoll's appearance in chapter 9 made me think I was missing an event, and learning that it doesnt even exist made me not want to be invested in the story anymore.
Going to keep going for now dead
Hoping this is a one-off and the translated parts of the story can get me invested again.

We're probably not getting this are we... It wouldnt be so big of a deal if it wasnt a key point of such a crucial climax, of the first arc of the game at that too.

Not only this cut content chapter, but I wish they complete the story one day with the 6 missing chapter that were cut from original story.
