True Champion of Darkhaven no opt out + EU VAT

So, I have no extra money to pay on shipping fee and I don't find anywhere the opt-out version of my pledge. Plus, what an unpleasant surprise to see I'm asked to pay for an extra tax. Both for 55 dollars. If I had known I had to pay that much VAT when I pledged, I would have adjusted my pledge accordingly. I do not have that much money to spend, I pledged the max I could already. So, what now ? I need help, thank you.

there should be a physical opt out option, check the question just below yours that i answered as well

but to cancel the pledge, that's something else i'm not sure about

maybe if you opt out of the physical version, it'll remove the VAT as well

I keep looking for it and I don't see it anywhere, I've seen your answer on previous questions but looks like my tier has no opt out.

Sorry to hear you can't find it, but that's strange -- it should be there, at least on the first step. If not, it's definitely worth waiting for someone else to assist as I'm sorry I can't do more.

As for the VAT, I saw in their pledge manager update on Kickstarter that it seems to apply for digital goods as well, but they tried to set it as low as possible. They mentioned that Kickstarter doesn't allow them to include sales tax or VAT in the rewards price

I understand KS doesn't allow them to put the tax price in the sale but at least mentioning "Tax not included" or something. I can't pay, that's simple. I wasn't prepared for extra costs, otherwise I would have choose a lower pledge.

It goes directly to higher tiers and so on, no opt out option for my pledge
