#Question about Pokemon Incense & Sleep Style

I'm been reading conflicting information about Pokemon Incense, so I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure about this.

When you use a Pokemon Incense, is the sleep style completely random regardless of drowsy power/strength level? I've seen some people say it has to do with the current DP, but here's the reason I don't think that's right:

Right now, I'm able to select my Mimikyu Incense at Greengrass Isle. According to Serebii, Mimikyu isn't even available until Master 2, and I'm only at Great 2 right now. If it's based on DP, then none of its sleep styles should be available for me, right?

Incense is also a bit weird in that it can bypass minimum snorlax level as long as it has the drowsy power you need. So events that (for example) double your drowsy power might allow you to see styles you don't actually have the Snorlax rank for

While without incense Snorlax rank is a requirement

But yeah, if you're at great 2 and use a mimikyu incense, you'll get the 1 star sleep style

Incense ignores Snorlax Rank, but it does look at Drowsy Power. If you don't have enough Drowsy Power, you'll get 1-star. If you have enough Drowsy Power for the 2-star sleep style, it will randomly pick one. It does not spend Drowsy Power, though, so it doesn't affect any of your normal spawns.
