Cetitan, IMO, is the perfect example of what a shiny should be. The regular ones should be sort of an icy white, that makes sense- but then the shiny is so very cool.

"normal coloration that looks nice and makes sense for the species + extremely cool shiny" is ideal.

(especially if the shiny can also make sense, like Sandygast and its black volcanic sand shiny. If they add Sandygast to Sleep I'm gonna be hunting one.)
